I am a registed nurse in Phoenix Az. I have been a big girls since the birth of my 3 kids.  I had all 3 kids within a year of each other and every since then I have not been able to get rid of the weight and keep it off. I have lost some weight using all the regualar weight reducing plans along with some that have not been practiced in years.  I lost a good amount of weight several years ago but it was not long that put it all back on. The problem that I am having now is that I am never not hungry.  I can eat a full meal and within and hour I can do it all over again. I currently am taking meds for hypertension, water retention, pain from arthritis in my back, acid reflux, sleep, and to add to that mix my doctor just told me that I am diabetic. Now this is a big old can of worms that I need to figure out a way to sort out.  I have thought about this procedure many times but due to insurance and financial issues I have had to put it on the back burner.  Today I met a man that had the procedure about 2 weeks ago. He resparked my interest in this procedure. So today I talked to the doctors office where he went and found out my insurance is not good there, so, I then looked on-line at my company and found out that a new office just opened in the last month at the hospital near where I live. I called them up and they are going to send me some imformation and call me with eligibility information based on my insurance. So I will see what happens tomorrow.  I also talked with my significant other tonight and he is NOT hot on this idea.  He wants me to find information on the complications and thus this is how I ended up here.  This story to be continued.
