I burp after every meal every drink and they are all loud and sometimes it hurts banded 11-9-09

120inside- I was banded Nov 9th and I feel the same way as you, but right now since we eat such small amounts( 2-3oz) I was told to eat every few hours. It is working pretty well for me. But I have noticed if I eat more or fast i get a stomach ache too! 10 lbs lost in 7 days 212/202/140

I got banded on Monday and have been burping after every meal too. It feels so much better once I let them out. Are we eating too much or is this normal ?

:confused:Hi 2 days until my band and I'm wondering if and what you tell people about your new lifestyle. I have told a few people about my decison to get this and it has been negative. Has this happened to anyone else ? Once I start losing weight I'm going to have to explain it. What do you guys say when people notice the weight loss.

Wow ! I went to my consultation on Oct 28 and my date is November 9 so less then 10 days. I'm a self pay so maybe that sped it up. I know it is quick but I have been thinking about it since April. No pre op diet so I have been doing my "food" bucket list this past week :-)

mom.on.the.go Thanks for the advice on Actos I will keep it in mind but hopefully won't need it after the lapband Soexcited Thank-you. I love being a mom it is the best thing I've done! I really need to lose weight to keep up with her she never starts moving. I love reading all the great stories and all the pounds lost here. It is really motivating and I can't wait for Monday!

Hi all, I'm new here, this is my first post. But I have been lurking on the site for a while :-) I started considering it since April and after reading everyones great posts here. I have decided to go for it. I'm scheduled for next Monday the 9th. Being diagnosed with PCOS for 16 years and numerous years of fertility treatments, I'm blessed with a 3 year old daughter and would love to have more. I believe this is my only hope, from everything I have read and what my Dr said my PCOS could go away. That would be so wonderful !
