My husband is excited about us sharing meals when we eat out. Plus I'm making better choices shopping and cooking for the entire family. I warned 'em all, I'm no short order cook. Ya get what'cha get! And it's gonna be fat free and baked!

Guess you could say I am in the Katy area... I-10 and 6; kids go to CFISD, don't forget my Sophomore Aggie, and I work off 529/Eldridge. Let's just say I (try to) stay away from Willowbrook Mall area and Katy Mills would be the first place to shop, see a flick, or just stroll around. Katy support group on the north side of 10 would be fantastic!

Brat- nurse just gave me the ok to make an appt in a few weeks for a fill-- haven't had one yet. I haven't asked the s/center yet if it's free or not. I'll do that when I make the appt.

you guys are correct; I only saw the nurse. Weighed in (no change, ugh), flashed her my scars and left. Was there for maybe 10 min total. Don't get me wrong, they're very nice and professional, just didn't see Felix himself. Oh, and I got the go ahead for a fill in a few weeks @ the surgicenter. She said since I'm a cash patient, I should get filled for free for the first year. BTW, nothing is free-- just prepaid!

Hey Texas Brat... Just wanted to check in with you-- you're more than 1/2 way thru your first week. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO! Never found out where in Texas you are, I'm in the Hwy 6/Katy area. I believe there are others out there kinda close to me. Tomorrow's my first check up- see the Doc-- let him see me and how all is going. Hopefully there'll be a difference on the official scale. We'll see!

Just finished my first week, can't wait to finish week two... get to eat mushie stuff then. A loud Texas WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO to that! I'm getting excited about cleaning out the closet, but it just feels good to put on some clothes and I have room to move. They're not big yet, but much more comfortable.

Kudos to you! I am celebrating my one week bandiversary, and this is my first official post. Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal-- and knock on wood-- NO GAS TODAY!! Still a bit slow, but I'm progressing every minute. I'll learn how to fix my signature line, but I was banded by Dr. Spiegel on Aug 25, 2006, at his SurgiCenter in Houston.
