    This is me and my friend Ani. I was so excited to go to the awards, but the weather was hot that day and I refused to wear a dress that showed my arms. I was so hot and sweaty by the time we walked the carpet that I was miserable.

    I went to Seattle this year and it was much hotter than I expected. I was really sad that I couldn't find any cute vintage clothes to fit me. I had to cut my hair off after I let my dear friend Kevin dye it bright pink and it wouldn't come out. All the bleach damaged my hair to the point that I couldn't save it

    Let's be honest about exercise

    I use my treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes. It's convenient and that's when I allow myself to watch TMZ. I also sit in my sauna a few times a week which is great for raising your heart rate and detoxing without actual cardio work. I hate running. Love Yoga and can't wait to get the ok to start my Bikram classes up again.

    Crazy Skinny Goals!

    I have some crazy ones too! 1. Hula hoop with a fire ring 2. Wear a Bikini and boots to Burning Man 3. Topless at the topless pool at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas 4. Join the Cirque School in Hollywood and learn how to climb the ariel silk ropes. 5. I got a $150.00 gift certificate to Gilly Hicks and I can't wait to feel comfortable enough to buy something there.

  13. I was only recently banded on December 6th so I'm just about to switch over to real food. But, I love to cook and I've made it my 2011 goal to recreate my favorite recipes in a healthier fashion. I'm also experimenting with alternative foods (ie cauliflower "rice", Carrot "noodles") I've been making the recipes, calculating the nutritional information and photographing them. I'm gonna try and do one a day, but we'll see. Anyhow, here's a link to my Blog where I'm posting them. Lap-band friendly Recipes Last night I made a great French Soup that usually calls for heavy cream and butter. I used fat free half and half instead and truvia instead of sugar.

My Last Fat New Years Eve 2010 The holidays have come and gone and it's time to make some serious resolutions and make sure that I stick to it, stay focused and make 2011 the most fabulous year yet! I ended up going to a costume party on NYE in downtown Los Angeles. It was so much fun putting on the afro puffs and sparkly headband, glitter sprinkled everywhere but I made sure to cover up my arms, tummy and butt. But, not next year. I loved all the crazy costumes that the people were wearing. There were lots of frilly tutus and bathing suit tops. Brightly colored hair and makeup and while I may never actually get to the bathing suit at a night club stage. I will feel more comfortable shining a little more brightly. RESOLUTIONS 2011 Lose 52 pounds Learn Spanish Commit to My Yoga Practice Read a Book a Month Walk 5 Miles a Day Create an Amazing Online Cookbook Blog Every Day Teach My Daughter to Be More Independent Have a Positive Attitude Open Up and Online Shop Save $$ Art I'm going to Use the S.M.A.R.T. Goal planning system to figure out how to achieve these goals which will give me a clear path to follow to get where I want to go. Tomorrow I have my first appointment at the Lindora Clinic to help me jumpstart my weight loss effort. Tuesday I have first checkup with Dr. Liu and maybe I'll get my first fill. My goal is to lose 2.5 pounds per week so I should be down 15 pounds by Valentines Day. *Fingers Crossed*

  18. The Holidays are over and that's not why I'm happy. I'm happy because I had great times with my great families. I never felt deprived of anything during this food filled time of year. I was able to enjoy a sweet here and there and some savory delights along with my friends. My birthday came and went and again the food became the center of the celebration. What makes me so happy is that the scale only jumped a tad and for the first time in many years I know that I will be able to lose the pound that I gained and continue to lose in the coming year.
