Hi, my name is Kristie. I have been overweight for my whole life. Came into this world as the bigger twin and have stayed that way. I have been considering lapband for a few years now. my husband first told me about it about 4 years ago. The cost has been the major reason I haven't done it yet. Gastric bypass was not an option after I had a cousin die from complications with the surgery. I am getting really excited. My first seminar is this saturday and I really want to rush things along, but they tell me it could be a while before I actually get banded. :( I have insurance , but not sure yet what they will cover. I also have a hernia I am going to have fixed or removed whatever ya call it at the same time. hoping this will get the insurance to pay more. Anyway will keep updating as I go along on this journey.
