Family First

Wow!! I finally made the decision to get healthy. I have been overweight for about 24 years. I think it all started when I went on birth control before I got married. I usually blame my being over weight on being happy. I have been on quite a few diets over the past 24 years. I am able to lose weight but am unable to keep it off. Lapband will be the tool that will solve that problem. I chose Dr. Cwyes because a couple of people at my work had lapband surgery performed by him. I think it is his "tough love" that I find appealing. I need someone who is going to get pissed off when I screw up.  One of the people from his office told me that his "tough love" comes from him caring SO much about his patients. I had my first appointment last week with Dr. Cwyes, scheduled for the 3 months of Physician supervised weight lose, Nutritionist appt.,  Fitness Specialst appt. and my psychologist appt. They are very organized.  Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.
