I have tried just about everything, and have been looking into gastric surgery in general, but never would have imagined it was possible.  I am a stay at home mom of 2 5-year-old girls and a wonderful 9-year-old stepson my husband the worlds greatest man works as a commercial construction estimator and say to say his employer does not offer insurance to his employees. :O(  My husband is a VET and has insurance through the VA my kids are all out of pocket insurace and when it was my turn to get insurance I was turned down because of my weight.  :O(  Even though I am healthy no problems at all not even an elevated blood test I was denied.  Around this time I think the relization hit me that I had to do something my weight was keeping me from insurance let alone all the other small things I miss out on.  I was explaining my fustrations to my mom and how hard dieting was with a large family and she said she was sorry and just told me to keep going on and that at 283 pouds I just have to keep trying. I have a fairly positive atitude but must admit I do get a bit down especially when we got out to eat and the hostess sugests a booth who puts the fat girl in a booth ha those things suck.  Its the smallest thing in the world I know but man it always gets me down.  Anyways getting off track a bit back to that talk with my mom.  A few days later my mom called back and started telling me about the face lift she has been saving up for she is 48 and does not need one she is stunning.  So anyways she is going on and on about how she should wait a little while to let age set in a bit and of course I am like duh your beautiful so in the end she agrees to wait until she is 50 and says what should I do with the money what else would you do but keep it in the bank for two years if its what you want.  She said no she could save that up again and that she wanted to put the money towards my surgery that she understood how hard it was to try with a family and that I deserved to look like the way I feel inside.  BAMMMMM here we are One day after surgery!!!
