    How Do I Admit?

You have to not only get another fill, but you have to be self-motivated too. A fill will only help so much. As others said, just because you can eat a full plateful of food, doesn't mean you should. I was at a retreat this weekend. It wasn't a retreat from eating! But, I knew that if I ate more than my stomach can hold, I would be miserable and sick, and ashamed on Monday! I actually lost weight this 3 day weekend. But, a PA should not withhold a fill because she felt you weren't doing enough to lose weight. Mine might have a talk. But the surgeon determined when and if I needed a fill, which, buy the way, was when I hadn't lost enough weight!!!
  2. As the others said, if you have trouble with liquid, you may be too tight! Your surgeon sound pretty aggressive with fills! Best wishes. Karen

    Vitamins

I take adult gummies, too! And I ,also, take a vitamin b-12 which melts under your tongue. You can try liquids but I don't like the taste, myself. Best wishes to you on your future lapband. Karen

How Have You Changed Since Lap Band Surgery?

I am back to enjoying myself! I know that my weight loss is under my control! Before lapband, I would try to lose and get bored and gain whatever I lost back. Now, I know, that even any weight gain or loss is within my control! Karen

    I Did It!

    whoohoo! Great job! Karen
  10. You are doing marvelously, Daisychains7, I know that you are proud of the new you! A you lose, you will probably lose some more on top. 36 something is probably where you will stay, but that is not too bad, I think everyone who is currently losing, should wait for a lift until they are near or at goal. Wise choice!! I am an "old" lady. 63. My breast size went from 44dd to 36d, or c. I don't like how I look in a c because they looked squished in. I am very flabby, but no surgeries for me at my age. Good luck to you all. Karen

  14. When I had my surgery done in 2009, my surgeon did not pre-fill the band at surgery. But, when my son had his surgery done, same surgeon, he pre-filled his. I am not sure why he changed his procedure. Karen
  15. That is totally awesome, you are so close, you will do it. Have you posted any before and after pics? Karen

    61 And Just Beginning

Vstall6046, welcome. If I could have any plastic surgery, it would be a tummy tuck. I don't think I want the pain and expense tho'. It would help my figure a lot. But, I just live with the tummy bulge and bear it. When I want to look my best I use a control panty. I have one of those body slips, but hate it, so don't wear it often. Here in Florida right now, we are experiencing what is know as TS Issac! It is not bad here in Lakeland, which is NE of Tampa by 40 miles. We had a worse storm earlier in the summer, called TS Debbie. The grandkids are out of school in anticipation of a hurricane. The biggest way it effects me is that I can't take my 45-1 hr morning walk. Good thing that I went to my bowling league last night. I am supposed to have a meeting at 10:00, not sure what the weather will be like by then. Well, enough of my ranting. Best wishes to all of us "over the hill" folks. Karen For you who ask, TS=tropical storm!!!
  20. Congrats to all of you, NSV's are the best! Karen

    Pb's And Parties

I was at my church and there was an anniversary party for our priest. I thought hat I could eat a small piece of beef on a small bun. It came up, and up and up. My son had to drive me home, and after while, I had no where to spit. We had to leave because there were so many people that I could not make my way to the restroom. It was not a pretty site, thank God my son is now a lapbander and is now well aware that when it comes, it comes!!!
