Happy birthday! If it were I, I would have a nice hearty potato soup, and treat myself to either ice cream or pudding cup! You can enjoy yourself without the mandatory eating, tho'. I gave out treats the day after my surgery 3 years ago. Then 1/2 way thru the evening, I put a sign out to help themselves as I just had surgery! Good luck enjoy!

I would freeze at 73 degrees. Mine is 75 degrees and I have a scarf around my neck. I, normally, keep my house at between 78 and 79 degrees in summer, so 75 is chilly for me. But, I did not turn on the heat. I am baby sitting my grand dog, and he is loving this weather. He refuses to come inside. During the summer, he does his business and asks to return inside to the cool. Yes, love saving on electricity this time of year! Karen

I agree with you, Keona. I have had the same problem over the last year. I had a revision in October of 2011. I am at 5cc and my surgeon is reluctant to increase as I have trouble with a tighter band. I, also, have gained, but he isn't too worried as he felt I was too thin for my age. he just wants me to control my snacking! I am trying, but it is not easy. At least, I have leveled out. Wow, I think that your low blood pressure might have to do with your coldness. But I am not a Dr. :wub: . Drs tend not to worry about their patients with low blood pressure. I agree with Rajasanoll, make sure that you are getting enough potassium and your fluids. Congrats on your tremendous weightloss, too! Karen

Yes, it does, and wait until you don't have that extra layer of you. I was cold a lot and had to dress with more layers. But, it could be so much worse! We could have been the people that got hit by Hurricane Sandy. My heart goes out to all the people who were. KEEP WARM AND SAFE EVERYONE!! And you Rebirth, you look like you bundled well. You are so right, Dee257. I can't get all those secret codes either. But, did have a PB experience lastnight, too! I had some asparagus and evidently either ate some too fast or I had a piece that didn't get well chewed. But, it came up. Then, went out about 1 1/2 later, and took a drink with me. I was in a HOA meeting, and had to leave 3 times, as the drink decided to come up! Yuck, trying to stay on liquids today. Better luck next time. Karen

!st of all, no gulping, sips are in order, always. If your fill is significant, liquid will either get caught or sit there and drain slowly. But, also, don't eat too quickly after a fill; my own surgeon's office requires 2 days clear and 2 days full liquids after a fill. Drinking cold liquids can be a problem, but then you, also, said you are gulping it down, slow and steady! You might take longer to sip that protein drink than before. Best wishes. Karen
