I like hot chocolate for my sometimes cravings, or a small piece of dark chocolate.

Best wishes, me too! I had a very bad day, yesterday. I ate everything in site. But, pull on your big girl panties, and see, you realized that you have a problem and came to us for support, like AA!!! We are here for you, (and me). I know just reading, and writing to you all helps me, too. best wishes to everyone, stay strong. New Year and new you is coming!!!Karen

I had liquids Tylenol at home. I did have prescription pain meds, too, but they do constipate you. Ask for some, but use it with caution, only as needed. But get up and walk ASAP. It will help the pain, and gas pain. GAS pain is the worst of all. (at least was for me)! The more walking you do, the less pain. So walk, walk, walk!!!Best wishes, Karen

Yes, it sounds like you rushed your eating, or you tried to eat too much. Your fill was Thursday, and it is only Saturday. I am not sure where you are living, but if you ate that on Friday, that was too much too soon. If you ate it today, then still sounds like too much. But, as Lovethenewme, said, scrambled eggs can be hard to eat. Slimming can happen to us all. A worse part if that it is uncontrollable when it happens. Slow down, have some warm tea. relax a little! Best wishes. Karen

I know that you all are very proud, tell us about some of your NSV's. Andrew already has because he has job working with kids that he would not have been able to do at 420. Give us more!!! Love to hear them! Best wishes to all. Karen -

Just a goodluck from me! Everything that the others have said. karen -
Great story, Dana Adams! I agree we are all different. You said it is a back up plan. I agree, I have it because I yoyo, too. I get bored with dieting, easily. That is my story. I have had lapband for 3 years and even tho' I knew what to eat for years, I ate too much junk! I loved bread, growing up, and forever. I can't eat most breads, so I have had to break a love affair with it. Best wishes, and stay awhile, you have a lot of wisdom to share. Karen

Why would you think that "only" six pounds is going to cause you to get a fill? Six pounds is great and if you are continually losing and feel some restriction you don't need a fill. there is one gentleman on here who has not had any and lost most of his excess weight. Others have never had a fill either. Don't be in a hurry for a fill if you don't need one. best wishes, karen

Interesting, but I think that I have the same problem. Make sure you don't slouch, either, because that causes an uncomfortable feeling around the stomach, too. Good to know about the bra thing, too. Karen

One week out and eating soft solids
kll724 replied to happy&blessed's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Best wishes to you and your wife. Be glad that you can have soft solids. My surgeon makes us do 10 days clear and 10 days full liquids before we can go to mushies. (Not that I remember, but my son-in-law just had surgery Nov 30). He was excited to go on full liquids, but can't wait for mushies, too! Congrats, again, Karen -

Actually, I answered on your other site. My recovery was quite a bit better than the earlier surgery. I was home within a few hours and felt pretty good. I knew what to expect, also. I was on a my 1st ever cruise 2 weeks after my surgery. The hardest part was waiting for the month to get a fill. Even tho' I had the band for 2 years, it was still hard. But, I adjusted my eating habits and did okay. Best wishes,Karen

Revision next week- freaking out!
kll724 replied to Feb's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I had a slip revision last Oct. I did not feel as bad that time as I did after my 1st surgery. I can't say I went right back, but was bowling in 3 weeks. In fact, I went on a cruise 2 weeks after the revision. You can do it. Just be aware of watching your food intake until the surgeon refills your band. Karen -

Do you wake in night w terrible pain?
kll724 replied to secondchancesally's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I get reflux if I eat late, but usually it comes with saliva that I have to spit up. If it reflux, you surgeon can prescribe something for it. Best wishes,Karen -
No, just a revision. The surgeon took all fill out, for 1 week, then did revision, thn filled again after 1 month. He thought he would ahve to remove and place anew one, but he was able to revision it, instead. Hurray, for me! Karen
-
Well, glad you had the unfill. But, incase your surgeon's office did not say anything, you should stay on liquids for a day or 2 to let your stomach calm down. My surgeon recommends 2 days clear and 2 days full liquids after aboth a fill and unfill. Only one time did I break that rule, that was when I, also, had not had anything for a day. But, generally you need to let you swollen stomach relax. Take it easy!!!Karen PS:Even yogurt is hard to get to pass if you are swollen.

Probably, but sometimes Surgeon's need to tweak things a little. I have 5 cc. I have had 5 cc for about 2 years, but had a slip and needed to have everything removed and then a surgical revision. He had to remove everything, but when he put fill back in, I am still at 5 cc. Does that make sense? I sometimes ramble in teh early mornings. Best wishes, Karen
