I agree GuyMontag, I crave sweets,too!

Aren't you on clear liquids? Don't know much about most protein powders, but most are not considered clear liquids. Slow down unless your surgeon authorized it!

Drinking and really uncomfortable...
kll724 replied to deleteme's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You probably drank too much too quickly! You appear to be a newly banded person and so therefore must slow down on your drinking besides your eating. Maybe your bottle of water was too much for one "meal"! How many ounces in your bottle? Even water, taken too much, will take a while to go down. Good luck, Karen -

You should be fine! You are healing and it will hurt a little. Your stitch area will probably be a little sore for awhile, maybe even months. The \n, the skin ,might itch. If there is no pussing or extreme redness, it probably is okay. Karen

Could not have said it better. But make sure that you get up and walk as much as you can. Don't stay on your back in bed. The more you walk, the quicker the gas will retreat. If you need to take something, try gas-x tabs that melt in your mouth. Bets wishes, Karen

Liquid in, liquid out! When in doubt, check it out! If you still have a problem in the morning and want medical advice call your surgeon's office! I hoe that didn't come out mean! didn't mean to. Karen

How often do you weigh yourself?
kll724 replied to Nurse_B's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Carolinagirl, you are too good! I am like others, I also, weigh a couple times a day! -
I have been stuck on fries. They are probably a no-no for you. Don't eat in the car, that is a bad one to do! My last pb was sitting in the car, rushing to help my daughter pick up her kids from school. We stopped for a snack!

2" thick rib eye, grilled to perfection. Crisp on the outside, barely warm on the inside...

Me too, we have a restaurant here that gives a $25.00 meal away for birthdays. So, we would save the place for free steak for our birthday. Since 4 out of 5 adults now have lapbands, it is s pleasure of the past!
