I don't agree that green means no hunger. If you are not eating, you sound almost anorexic. That is what made Sharon Osborn renove her lapband. Please eat!

What should i pack for surgery?
kll724 replied to SecretBander's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Bring both comfortable clothes, bathrobe, pajamas and underwear. A lot of people stick with sweats and slippers, or flipflops as you don't want to have to exert too much energy getting dressed. I agree about the Clear Liquids that lbktxgal mentioned above. Best wishes on your surgery and recovery. -
My exercise today is house work. Swept and washed my tile floors. Whole house is ceramic tile. Cleaning is a workout, we ladies know!

Most of the time, surgeon or who ever fills you will give a numbing to the spot where the needle goes into. My surgeon has us do 2 days cler and 2 dys full liquids after the fills. Best wishes, Karen..aka..kll724

Back pain between my shoulder blades
kll724 replied to khelm32's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's great, I am glad you are feeling better! -
Well, sat on my butt for 4 hours this morning in a meeting at my grandson's school. Does that count as exercise? Yesterday I worked in the school media center for 4 hours, and checking in and out books. This is a high scoring STEM school and the media center is very busy. I can't guess how many books i logged in and/ out, but I stood for most of it since it was easier to move them along.

Share Your NSVs Here Please!
kll724 replied to DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!'s topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Congrats on all the great NSV's. Nothing new for this lady. Just freezing everyday as its cold here in Florida! 45 degrees F. Guess we all feel colder now than when we weighed 100 or more lbs higher! best wishe, Karen..aka..kll724 -
You are doing great! Congrats on not needinga fill yet. Woohoo! Karen..aka.kll724

I can definitely identify. I felt the same way, talk to your surgeon about this. Mine chose to do nothing. But someitmes you might want a slight unfill to help you stabilize your weightloss. Good luck, Karen..aka.kll724

You sound spretty "green" to me. I agree, why woul dyou wan to eat more? SOunds like you are eating just about enough. Are you able to go 3-4 hours withput thinking of food? If so, you are probably green. Take care to make sure that you are getting enough to drink too. Karen..aka.kll724

Help me PLEASE! Need some restrictions!
kll724 replied to Blahhhhh's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Looks like you are doing great, so far. You have lost 95 lbs in a year! woohoo! i like lisoncaron's idea of calling teh nutrionist and speaking 1-1, to see if you can somehow move up to a sooner appointment. Best wishes, keep up the good work, too! Karen.aka.kll724 -
Yes, kimk1999, that is what you are looking for, but I am not sure that others realize the same thing. I think some folks are looking for a hand to come out and say STOP! My son-in-law has finlly gotten restriction enough that 3 bites of sandwich is all he can take. Well, guess what, s-i-l, I haven't had a full sAndwich in 4 years. I have shared a "Subway" sandwich with my hubby, by cutting a 6inch in 4's and eating one. He is really losing now, with his "restriction". Best wishes, anD watch out for head hunger, too! Donna, ((((hugs))) to you. I know that you have had your up/downs with health issues this past year. As others have said, stay in touch, we really want to hear how you are doing. God bless! Karen..aka.kll724 -
Best wishes, als41. You aer doing a great job!

I agree, call the surgeon's offcie. It could be a slip, but without them checking, it is no way of knowing. I don't think I would wait for 2 weeks, if I was in pain. Karen..aka.kll724
