take this time to practice. small bites, put ur fork down hands in ur lap and chew chew chew. Also for me the hardest thing was not drinking with my meals. So practice, practice, practice.

i was told no food 4 hours before a fill and no liquids 1 hour before. i would be starving by the time. I would do my fills during my lunch hour. It was the perfect lunch, i'd be hungry right before and fine the min id jump off the table.

I was honest with my doctor about my portions and time between meals u may be ready for a fill. As time goes u will learn to pay attention to ur body know what u can and cant have. I find that eating out has gotten easier as time has gone by. I eat pretty much what i want with the exception of like breads so instead of burgers i have lettuce wraps bake potato instead of French fries. I eat steak, ribs, fish, chicken i usually fill up on my proteins. I take home what i dont finish and no one knows the difference. in the begining i downloaded the menu, so i could get an idea of what i know i can eat. everyone is different. I have a 10cc band and its at 7cc and i have been like this for two years ive adjusted my eating habits. I eat about 8 oz of food.

Wow, banded at 35, such a great age!!!!! I got banded at 35, i went in having ur same fears, i think we all do. When ur fat for so long, and have failed though u have tried, u cant help but fear that this would be another let down. But let me tell you, the band is an awesome tool. I was tired of being invisible, of being the fat friend that made others look hot. We r all here for you and once u start seeing and feeling the results, i cant even begin to tell u how amazing it feels to no longer be invisible. To run, and play and keep up and even out run ur children. Get ready for ur life to change sweetheart! Good luck!

u need to do whats best for you. i think everyone of us has tried and tried and has had success at the yo-yo diet. Think of it this way look what u can do without the band, imagine what u can achieve with it. The band will not do it alone you have to work with your band. I know folks that have the band and they look the same. Ask yourself if your ready for a life change. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, remember this a choice u need to make for yourself.

I have this problem too...and until i buy me some heresy a little trick... I went from a 44E i am now a 36 deflated C...lol i never thought i would ever need a push up bra why i was never lacking in the boobs department well i buy a push up that increases up to two cup sizes and i become a cupcake they are the topping on the cake.....sure when i take the bra off they look like two wrinkled water bags. but in a pretty top even low cut ud never tell....

Dr told me as long as i wasnt doing anything crazy...six weeks for any ab work outs but that i could do just about anything that Didnt involve using stomach muscles. Dont be embarrassed to ask believe me ur Dr has heard it all.

oh.... u got this.. dr told me not to get my hopes up and that starting at 328 lbs and a 24 26 that i should be happy to drop even 100 lbs. That i would probably be able to get to a 14 maybe a 12. WELL Im a size 6 and the smallest i have ever been. i still weight heavy, but im tall and i wanted it. If u want that 8 u can do it. Good luck;-)
