  5. It was going well until I had a riff with a opininated overbearing Ex Friend. No one says the things she did when she is truly a friend. Good riddance. Looking forward to making new ones. Are you going to get out and enjoy this fall weather at all?

  6. Good deal. Glad to hear it. I know you are happy about that. Looking forward to hearing how things are going.

  7. I havent tried yet, but I havent been able to for the past 2 days. Ive got my fingers and toes crossed.

  8. Im going to a info Seminar at Emory University's Bariartic Clinic in Atlanta on January 14th. I have checked out all their Surgeons, and they haven't paid any malpractice suits, no complaint filed against them. Very well respected. Let's just hope they have bed side manners to match. How's your weekend going Colleen?

  9. I talked about it in my blog,www.kickinfatsazz.blogspot.com, you can read about there. I got new Surgeons at Emory University's Bariartic Center. My seminar is Jan 14th. Im excited. :bored:
  10. Thank you, Jack! I wish I had taken a picture of the Suite Number written in Sharpie on the Wall. That part was so pitiful, Yet Hilarious to me now! I was so tired yesterday I couldn't bare to write about it twice. I've blogged about it here, too. I think Everyone Should Check out their Surgeon's Medical License. It was quite Simple in Georgia, just a website you plugged in their name, and all the information came right up. Even though Everything has been put off for months now with the Seminar not until January 14th. I Feel good about my Choices. I hope others can read my story, and learn from it! www.kickinfatsazz.blogspot.com

    Bailed my Lapband Consult!

Electra, I wish I would of thought to taken a pic of the Suite Number written with Sharpie! I think I was too traumatized at the time! Hilarious, Absolutely Hilarious! Emily, I don't have a Consult scheduled yet. I'm going to the Seminar in January. KDee, makes you really think twice doesn't it? I already ran checks on all the Surgeons of the Team at Emory. Praise God, they all have really great records. No malpractices to date at all. Unlike all the other Surgeons that were available to me. I am so glad I didn't give up, and keep researching. I can only pray they have good bedside manners, too. Time will tell.

    Bailed my Lapband Consult!

Bailed my LAP-BAND® Consult! Early this morning I was on the computer and searched for my LAP-BAND® Surgeon's website to print out the patient information packet I needed to take to my appointment. The website had expired on the 14th on November. I sat there looking at the computer dazed. I was going to a Surgeon who had let his website expire??? This was my first Red Flag of the Day. I decided to look up Dr. Hixon and see if there were any complaints filed against his medical license. There were no complaints yet he has 3+ malpractice suit he has paid. This was my Second Red Flag of the Day. The only reason I went to the appointment was my Mom had an appointment at Emory University, and she wanted me to ride with her to Atlanta. I was so NOT going to go. When we got to the Atlanta Medical Center, the area was run down, not well kept, not a hostipal I wanted to go to by choice. This was my Third Red Flag of the Day. I walked into the Building, and was greeted by a Homeless Woman. Sitting with her Grocery Sacks, and empty coffee cup she was collecting change in. She was quite nice and I felt bad that I had nothing to give her. The walls were poorly lit, the carpet were ragged and worn, the walls needs to be scrubbed and painted. When I got the Elevator, I said a Prayer because I truly was not sure we would survive the trip. When I arrived at my Floor, I got off looked for some direction to my Surgeon's office. It was easily found, written in Permanent Black Maker on the wall. 440 to the Left. This was my Fourth Red Flag of the Day. Shaken and traumatized from the trip up. I arrive at the office . I arrived in the office. They said they were just calling me. I looked down. yes I missed a call. They were calling me to tell me Dr. Hixon couldn't see me today he could reschedule for after the holidays. uhhhhhhhhh......... no thanks I will get my own. Note: I did get New Surgeons, I signed up with Emory University Bariartic Center of Atlanta. My Info Seminar is Jan. 14th!~
  18. You are welcome for the pic comments, I love all your pics! They are so spunky and fun! You are so beautiful. I blogged about my Unconsult here and at www.kickinfatsazz.blogspot.com Let me know what you think. Miss talking to you. Have a great weekend.

  19. Wooo hooo! 185!!! Rock on, Jean! You are making it happen! Keep being my Inspiration, Girlfriend! Have a great night at work.

  20. Cathy, I don't have the option of going to True Results as they don't take my insurance. I did check into them in the beginning. Everyone I have talked to at Emory has been wonderful so far. I have very happy to have Surgeons that don't have malpractices suits against them, Like the other Surgeons I looked into, and are very well respected. I can only hope when I meet them I be comfortable with the Surgury Team.

I went to my PCP today, she documented an infection in my Apron. She even documented I have a scar from so many infections in that area. Hopefully this will help me get a pannlectomy down the road. I know I am going have a tough fight with my Insurance to get one.

Thanks for the great response, and Happy a Wondeful Holiday with your Family and Friends!
