Great to hear back from you! Yesterday I walked with some football moms while my son was at practice. It was kind of tough but I did it. Felt good though. By the time we got home I was just starving! Imagine that?! We had roasted potatoes with dinner. I was doing OK til I added butter. I did make myself go to bed with no ice cream but ate about 10 reeses pieces. I was mad after I did that but will try to do better tonight. I can hear me talking when I read your msg about knowing what to do but doing it or getting started IS SO HARD! LOL I have a good friend that recently lost 50 lbs on weight watchers and I have thought about doing that for a long long time just to help me learn how to eat and most of all how to prepare healthy foods. They have a meeting at 6pm tonight. Think I am going to go check it out. Maybe it will also help me eat better since I will be weighed in weekly. I really want my weight to start going down and not up anymore! Have a good evening! Sylvia

Hi Tina, I accepted you as my friend. Hope I did not correctly. Well I was tied up with my son's football, etc this weekend. Trying to get back on track but these games and the heat are not helping. This time my son and I got a Sugar Free snowcone to cool off after the game and that helped me on Saturday. On Sunday I bought some Sugar Fee Klondike Bars and only ate one last night instead of my normal blue bell chocolate mint. Not so bad! How did you do over the weekend? I hope to never give up trying and hope to suceed soon! LOL : )

LAP-BANDED since 2006. I have had fills and unfills trying to find that sweet spot or fullness filling. I believe my body is in that survival mode. Eat a late dinner (7pm-9pm) due to my son's baseball activities and by that time I am so hungry and I may not make the best choices. If dinner doesn't go well, for whatever reason I eat ice cream. Not a good habit to fall into at ALL! But seems to be a BAD and common thing with LAP-BAND? patients. I have lost 5lbs since 4/13, but maybe could loose more if I could choose and limit my dinner meals and go back to boot camp. My son and I would both love home cooked & healthier meals but problems finding the time to make them. Even on weekends I am either playing catch up on chores or at baseball tournements. Any suggestions? I AM starting on my new plan today. With the Lap Band Talk and God's help I will succeed!! : ) All Support is very much appreciated. Sylvia

Hey girl, Sorry I had to cut it short. My office was taking me to lunch for Administrative Week. I was nervous as all get out. My band is still a little tight and usually I do not eat until about 1pm and we left at 11:30am. Fortunately all went well and I ate a bowl of crawfish bisque. It was yummy too. I am starting a boot camp exercise program today and I am very excited. Now I really need to focus on drinking more water! I am working hard mentally and physically to start a life style change for me. Now to adjust and stay with it this time.......What is a spin class? I have not heard of that before. Hope to talk with you more soon........

Hi Nita, I am starting my weight loss over with the lap band. I was banded February 2006. Started at 255 and then eventually down to 175. Now I am back to 209. Finally decided it was time for a fill. I notice you requested me as a friend but at that time I was not a truly devoted to this web site. How are things going with you? I was going to send you a request to be friends but not sure how to do that on here. Hope to hear back from you, Sylvia
