Hi, I just got word that my insurance approved the lap band. I am so excited and very nervous. I'm 46 and have been obese for 20 years. I have lost weight so many times but have failed to keep it off. I understand that the lap band is not a quick cure and have done a great deal of research. I have been in therapy for 3 years for my emotional eating and food addiction. I spent 25 years as a thin woman, 20 years as a fat woman and I am ready to go back to my roots. I want to feel good about myself again. I welcome any words of wisdom!Tessierose
