Hi Oliver Dog, I was banded Oct. 1 and had a similar twisting experience. My port area was sore for almost a week if I remember correctly, still occasionally get a twinge. Had my 1st fill Oct. 28 and their were no problems seen at that time. My biggest trouble yet has been constipation. Water and fiber is a must.
