hi , i'm in the same boat with you..i have only lost a total of 15 to 16 lbs. since 12/28/09..I just had a another fill last week which now i'm at 7ccs..my nurse advised some people get to their sweet spots at diff cc's..so hopefully we both can get there and we can lose more wait..I just had foot surgery on today and can not walk..so I will be non mobile for a couple of weeks.good luck.

I only have 2 incisions that I can see. I really have 3 incisions per my doctor..they call this one incision surgery..they make one incision at your belly button..and uses the other 2 incisions to use intruments and carmeras to work from. they adv me these incisions are less painful and the healing process is quicker..enjoy..because I am..

Hi, I was banded on Monday 28th of dec as well and I'm during pretty well. just a little concerned about how My stomach feels inside when I move or get up. Looking forward to keeping up with you progress..since we was banded the same day..Happy New Year to you and God Bless.

Hi, I have a low BMI of 36 and somedays i'm at 35 BMI..I am schedule for surgery on the 18th of DEC../I wish you well.. I didnt share this w/any one but my husband and my best friend since grammar school. Because I know how cruel people can be.. I see how cruel they are @ work with this girl who says she lost a lot of weight w/weight watchers..and her BMI was around 44.and 1 year later shes BMI around 34....so just imagine what they will say about me.. ..keep in touch to let me know how everything went..i'm sure it will go well.. :thumbup:

Hi kat, I'm in Macon, Ga..not banded yet..I am going through dr. bagnato for surgery..LAP-BAND®..My ins company keeps coming up with things I must do..I met w/my doctor in 12/08..and we went over diet plans and she precribed some diet pills for me..and gave me refills for 12 mons...I went back to her 08/09 and she went over diet plan and I mention I wanted the LAP-BAND® surgery..and put in her notes that she agree for me to have LAP-BAND® surgery../i'm w/bcbs ppo and I don't know if they want me to go every month to the doctor for diet plan or..would my doctors notes would be okay..I first submitted a letter from my doctor..and then they adv they needed..notes../any advice? thanks:thumbdown:

hi, was denied by bcbs in reference to diet plan..(6 mos)supervised by a doctor..my doctor put me on phentermine in 12/08..and list my assessments as morbid obesity.and she did not want me to come back each month..I went back to her on 09/2009 and she adv of my weight @ that time as doctor notes and adv that she is agreeing w/me having lapband surgery...I have my progress notes do you think the insurance will except that..our I will need to visit the my doctor once a month for 6 months..:thumbup:
