My story is still short but my journey has been long. I have struggled with my weight since adolesence, often indulging in such diet fads as the cabbage soup diet, fasting, liquids only and running for hours at a time. After three babies my health is now suffering massively. I am 27 and take 6 prescriptions a day for my heart, thyroid, asthma and arthritis. I began my venture with LapBand after my husband urged me to try. After a summer of phentremine and a personal trainer, I opted to try. I am currently 1 week in on my insurance review period and am anxiously praying for a miracle. I pray everyday that I can soon get my kids out of the car comfortably and without breaking a sweat.
