Amen to that Jaffa Steve my two year old is always on the move there is never a dull moment w/ him., he is a goer deffintaly not a sitter. He runs and paces w/ the dog for god sakes. Only if I had his energy. -

congrats to all of you women yall are a true inspiration, I really-really need to excersise more but I worry about the stares but then again I guess I should look at it as if well at least im trying. -

I actually cancelled my fill apt. on the 23rd of march this month I'm kinda at the point where I think I'm at my sweet spot I just have to be very careful. Today I had a slim fast shake for brakfast then for lunch its pot-pie. I've lost 35#'s since 08-2008, I guess if I excersided more I would have lost more but w/ work, hubby and a two yr. old who has time. Godd luck to all. -
Well I guess I'm over the tight-tight restriction I am able to eat more now with restriction, I had asked my mother which has been banded almost six yrs. she said it could be mucus fm allergies. So I guess that can fill your band b/c mucus is thick. Yeah I can eat chicken more than any other meat. Beef is the worse also anything w/ skin absolutely no hot dogs or smoked sausage:(

I have a difficult time w/ beef and pork, so I try to stay w/ mainly chicken, oh and yes I do get tired of chicken!!!!! I'm curious I've had issues w/ eating the last three days I haven't been able to hold anything dwn besides cookies which isn't at all good for me., But I know I have to eat something, haven't had a fill in 3 months so I know it isn't that??? But the last 3 days have been ruff do u think u know why??????????????

congrats , keep up the good wk i've only lost 26 pounds and my surgery was 8-11-08 :eek: but thats not to bad i guess , i didn't put in on overnight.

congrats on the weight loss i have a 10cc band and I had 3 cc's put in at time of surgery 1 fill w/ 1.2cc w/ a total of 5.0 ccs i was banded 8-11-08 down flucutates 18-19 pds. which i guess thats good I go for my second fill tommorrow 9-26-08. yeah but nervous -nervous -

Decatur hospital we recieved a little rectangle shaped pillow to help w/ coughing the volunteers make them fm the hospital , yes it is very sweet. -

Sorry for the pain for the gas I found that the gas strips cinnamon flavored 2 at a time really helped w/ the shoulder pain. Good luck on your journey. -

Well lets see my husbands name is Alan- I will call him sweetie most of the time or daddy around our son, If I wan't attention It's honey bunny or being silly is honey bunny sugar wooger pants or pookie but when he has oh just made me mad it's DAMIT ALAN!!!! LOL But for the most part its sweetie and daddy.

cost of lap band SCoR/Dr. Benavides

I used Dr. R. Benavides out of Richardson I have nothing but good to say about him, he's a excellent dr. my surgery was 8-11-08 and I drove to Decatur to have my surgery. I pd out of pocket to him my co-insurance 400.00 then I pd 1200.00 to the hospital the surgery cost 27, 000, and my portion all together was 1600.00. But so far to me he's been a great dr. -
i started at 212 before i decided to have the surgery and then gained to 230 yikes!!!! What have i've done but I was well I better eat this b/c I may not be able to afterwords, my surgery was 8-11-08 and its been almost a month and i'm to 212 thats good i guess, but i'm 5'4 kinda short.

Thats great I would love to be under 200 by christmas I have 15#'s to go. Maybe I'll reach that goal I was banded 8-11-08 I love the band so far. Also one question how do yall make yalls posts so unique with all the little cartoon animation? How much weight loss do you normally loose in a month or is it just based on the individual and their fill? -

I am so sorry for your loss, but he doesn't know what he's missing. Just remember what goes around comes around someone will do him the same when he least expects it. Hang in there he wasn't the one if he is going to treat you that way, everything happens for a reason someone up there w/ bigger powers is watching over you. hi there i'm getting excited about my surgery 8-11-08, a little nervous .........yikes!!!!!!!! I go today for pre-op so it's really starting to hit home, keep in touch and let me know abount your journey. Take care.
