If only I knew then what I knew now. Went to what I thought was a reputable doctor. The surgery itself went great but the deliberate deception on the doctors office behalf when it come to neglecting to fully disclose the total cost of the surgery, is about to make me bankrupt. That after I asked very specific questions. Since my surgery, I haven't heard one peep from my doctors office, not as much as one phone call to see how everything was going or to schedule my first fill. I had to call them to tell them that I'm still alive (thanks for checking) and that I needed to schedule the fill. I was forced to cancel that appointment after I received the medical bills from them. $76,020 for the surgery center alone! Another $14,900 for my doctors fee and then another $4000 for another doctor who works in his office that just happens to jump in on every surgery without telling the patient about it. They verified my insurance and now my insurance is refusing the nearly $100K in charges. I still have not fill and I'm eating more because my stress level is officially through the roof. With work and now this tremendous financial burden, it is just all too much.
