Tina. Omg I keep doing the same on reading the complication bander threads and how they want it removed. Talk about putting a downer on myself lol. Bad idea. Don't read them. I have my one week post op with anwar tomorrow. I have tons of questions for him lol.

Tina so glad the preop went good. How funny because the week before my surg I was put on heavy antibiotics for a sinus infection too. Yes I'm so glad us three have found each other. The idea of walking and chatting sounds great for us all. I'll look up more support groups that we will all be able to attend together. I love it " the three bandeteers".

No worries you are not alone. I was banded on 12/3 and I am starving and thinking the same--what did i get myself into though it will get better. it is frustrating i know

Thank you for all the advice I don't feel like I'm alone in thinking I was nuts for doing the surg. I know time will pass and get better but I had my surg 12/3 and I'm starving it sucks

Jennie, omg that is such a relief to hear that I'm not the only one. Man you took the words right out of my mouth on how I feel. I agree though it's that damn food that got me here in the first place. When were you banded ? There is a support group coming up on the 16th of dec at Good Sam. I am going to attend it I think. I registered for it on the actual lapband website. Where are you located??? Nicole

I was banded on 12/3 and I feel the same way. Like what did I get myself into. I know it will change but being in the current moment sucks. I'm craving regular food and tonight I am feeling nauseated and don't know why. Back is killing me as well. Uurrghh

hey Tina. I know it's rare finding an Anwar pt. I stayed one night at Stanford. I have been home and doing good for the most part. The most pain I have now really is just in my back from laying down so much. Preop will go fine for you. It was quick. He is so mello. Make sure you ask him for your pain rx so you have it ready when you get home!! Let me know how it goes. And if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. I'm here for you!!!!

I was banded on 12/3. For the most part doing good. I had a hiatal hernia repair as well. I have slight pain but not as bad as yesterday. I just keep walking and waiting for the first week at least to pass.

I was banded on 12/3 too. I haven't needed pain meds since 6 am. I am def doing better today than yesterday. I feel like I gave been sucker punched a million times. Today I have walked three different times and a good speed 15 mins each time and that helps with the gas and pain. At times today I wondered what the heck I got myself into bur know it will all work out. Drank water galore today and two sugar free pops.

I was just banded by Dr Anwar on the 3rd. I live in Santa Clara. I def need more band buddies!!!
