I am a 35 year old wife with 2 children (11 year old son and a 4 year old daughter). I started gaining my initial "overweight" weight in 1999/2000. During that time in my life, my husband and I were going through a really rough time in our marriage and actually seperated 3/99. During the seperation, I began eating "emotionally". I was soo depressed and hurt that I packed on 28lbs in one year until I reached whopping 216lbs. Once my husband and i got back together and began repairing our marriage, I had no idea how to work on ME. I am that person who puts everyone first and myself last. I know all the things to do and have a support system but I cant seem to get past that 21st pound. Im just not seeing the results I want to in order to keep me motivated. One bad week and it seems as though I have to start all the way back from the beginning and I am just simply tired of the yo yo. Reading all of the stories online has me thinking lapband will be a good fit for me; however, I am SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!! Any advice?
