Hello this is Rachelle long time since I have logged on!! I am in dire need to lose 17lbs so I can have surgery, it was 13lbs and I am on the diet and gaining weight!!! How is that even possible??? I am logging everything I eat in and I am not cheating!!! I think I need to join a support group.... Is there any in Elk Grove does anyone know???

Hello everyone long time no write!! I am at work so just a quick note.... I am still on the plateau I am hating it, but partly just because car is in the shop so I am using that as an excuse not to go right to the gym after work..... I need to have my surgery soon so I am getting motivated RIGHT now!!! On a positive note I went to an open mic night for comedy and it was actually a CONTEST I found out after arriving, well I won that night and am now in the semi finals with 44 others 1100 people tried out.... I have been asked to do a Feature on the 26th..... It was hard because like I have said body image is what has held me back alot.... But now I just make fun of having surgery and it is all good.... Like we have to lose weight to have surgery.... MMMMM why am I here again... (believe me I do know why) lol!!Looks like you are all doing well I will read up later!! Have a great day!!!

So I am curious our doctors are not very eager to do fills? Can my GP do fills in Sacramento or will I have to go to Richmond? Now I am a little worried I went this route to be safer but not to have to fight with doctors to be successful...... I will look into the sleeve also than you for your responses!!

So I have not heard of the sleeve.... What is that?? Also did you have the lap band and have it removed? I am trying to catch up here!! :smile2:

Wow 84lbs that is hard to keep your eye on the prize if weight loss was easy none of us would be here.... You are in my thoughts just keep telling yourself it is sooo worth it..... You CAN do it!! I hope he will reconsider if not I am here to bounce ideas off and encouragement!!

Sooo you all want me to tell you a joke I will tell you a joke I made it to the gym tonight that is the first one..... Then the second ohhh ya I worked ou then tried the Hoola Hoops weighted ohhhhh ya!!! Now that is a joke I don't remember it being that hard as a child!!! The weighted ones actually hurt!!! I cannot even last 30 seconds!!! Now that is a joke!!! :thumbup: Someday I will invite you all to see me in action!!! I think that you are all great and have a good thing going here.... Yes I go to Contours in Elk Grove like a Curves for Women but with real weights to increase your strength as you lose and help you lose inches.... I was originally 230 when I started all this a year ago then I lost my insurance so I gained in the last year up to 258.... so I have to get back to 230.... Almost there!!!! Do you go to a gym in EG? How far along in all of this are you???

So do you have the shakes? If so has it helped with weight loss??

I am reading about these shakes on here I thought (and forgive me I lost my binder in the move just replaced it) that we could not replace meals with Shakes? Is that ok to do now?? Or is it post op? I need to crack that Binder open!!!

Thank you everyone for the help and the greetings!! I am all ready for surgery except this last 8lbs!! My doctor is doctor Fischer. I am mentally pre pairing for this..... I am encouraged reading all of your post..... Going to the gym is my biggest down fall.... I hate to work out but if I do I feel better and I already notice a difference.... I do some stand up comedy but have been really hesitant to get on stage because I hate seeing photos of myself on stage so I am hoping that I can over come this and go on stage during this whole process.... Thank you again!!
