Thanks for the inquiry. ) Things are going okay. I have been losing weight.....down 25 pounds in three weeks. YAY! I am finding it hard to drink the protein powder. It tastes okay but the texture is nasty. I have to literally CHOKE it down. Make sure you are trying protein powders BEFORE surgery. And be prepared for pain. It is painful, both physical and emotional. My hardest part is watching my family eat the foods I used to love and not want to have some too. But I just keep telling myself, "This is better for me. I will be happier in the end." Gotta keep my eye on the prize, so to speak. LOL. I havent had any real problems. Besides finding a comfortable position to sleep in...I had to sleep in a chair with my feet on another chair for almost TWO weeks because the gas was causing pain in my chest if I wasnt sitting up or standing up. And the mushy food getting stuck. That is painful too!
