  1. I went for a fill and it doesnt feel like he filled me it feel like I had a unfill I am not full at all. I am never going to lose the weight at this rate

    Fresh Start again

    I will start off with telling you all about myself I have been over weight all my life since I can remember I have been on diets, My mother was always worried about my weight and she didnt want me to be fat so she had me on the military diet and weight watchers at the age of 11 which was not fun and at the gym at 5am on weekdays but she did it because she was worried about my health. Well nothing worked I started high school and would work out and joined sports and still no change in weight then I found out I had Diabetes type II and that scared me. I did lose a little weight then but not enough. I got married at the age of 20 and had a baby and still never changed in weight I got divoiced at 24 and remarried at 26 and happy so happy I gained like 30lbs more so I was at 260 and got pregnant and at the end of preggo I was pushing 315. The worst part was that my baby girl was born with CHD know as Heart defects and other birth defects caused by my diabetes being out of control and over weight. They were not able to be fixed she pasted away at 6 weeks of birth, So that is the reason now that I had Lap Band so I can be healthy for my son and want another beautiful baby. I say Fresh Start again because the first one start was when I was banded in May 2010 and I did really well at first. But I didnt do any exercise and I didnt feel full. So now I really need to use this band as a tool and lose some more weight . I have been tracking my meals online at the lapband journey site and tracking my workouts. So I have limited myself to no more than 1200 calories a day and at least an hour working out 4 days a week for now. You know it sounds so simple in my head but when it comes down to it, It is really hard to get motivated and i say want this so bad but then I fail to go excerise so I am so Bad that I let food control me I should control the food. Because to be honest with all of you I still get really hungrey after work and in between meals. But who knows I will beat OBESE one way or another.

  5. I would think that muscle pump would be close to pumping class right I have in the past and its ok, I do have an appointment with a trainer on Monday Jan 31,2011 so maybe that will help thanks girly

    Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

    I like this site it lets me see what people like me are eating. Here is what i ate yesterday B- Egg whites with 2 slices of Turkey Bacon 125 calories S- Cheese low fat 60 calories L- Turkey patti wrap with 1/2 tablespoon of fat free mayo on a low carb tortilla/ side salad 220 calories S- Apple 75 calories D- 2 Turkey patties with 2 slices of turkey bacon / 1 cup of Green beans 400 calories 62oz of water Zumba at the YMCA

  10. Well I did try cycling and I didnt care for it. I am looking for more like a toning workout like lifting something to help tone my arms so I dont have the extra skin

    Very discouraged.. and worried

    Well here I am I also have the same problem, I have been keeping a daily tracker of what I have been eating and working out 3-4 days. To be honest I had fallen off the wagon and had not been working for the last 2months. I don't what I am doing wrong. I do have a fill coming up in 2weeks.
  13. Well have not done much working out because my Zumba classes have been cancelled due to weather

  15. Do you have the Zumba workout DVD at home. As for you weight lose that is really good. I have started tracking what I eat and going to Zumba 3 times and circuit training once a week

    My Journey - 6 months post op - down 79lbs

    Great I did start going to gym I started with doing Zumba classes I go mon-wed its been really hard on my knees. I dont know about my diet it seems like I can eat more on somedays than others. I have not been doing any protien shakes durning the week I am really good on what i eat like I have egg whites with pita for bf, then a can of Tuna w/o mayo just pepper serve with wheat crackers or pita, sf jello a yogurt sometimes. I snank on fruits or string cheese. I was 285 when I started and stuck at 250 for 4mths now. I dont want to do another fill untill I see if the Zumba works for me or not you know.

    I have failed my band - SUPPORT GROUP

    I am in the same boat I was banded on 05/25/2010 and have only lost 25lbs I was doing really well at first but now it seems that I want to eat all the time and so I have been eating the wrong foods. I just started excerising which I should have done a long time ago so if we can help each other that would be great I plan on going the gym 4day this week. I will do it
