I've struggled with infertility for five years, since February 2005. My doctor has ran all sorts of tests on myself and my husband and came to the conclusion that I'm just too fat to have a baby. Initially, this really pissed me off. I felt like I was being overlooked because of my weight and I still think it's true but it's irrelevant. There is nothing that I won't do if it helps me become pregnant and no doctor in my area will help me unless I'm thin. I've tried losing weight on my own and had little to no success so I'm left with no other choice. I don't want to have surgery but if that's what it takes, then that's what I'll do. I'm working on scheduled a consult with the surgeon so I can start on the requirements for my insurance company.
