All who have been banded by Dr. De la Garza
Mrs. NateNate replied to MollieBeth's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I was also banded by him. I had a wonderful experience. They really took care of me while I was there. I was in great hands. Never felt out of place. Everyone was so warm and friendly. -
Anyone know anything about Dr. de la Garza?

I was banded by him. I had a great experience. I went and had the surgery by myself and they really took care of me. They treated me like a queen. -
I met my original goal of 145. My new goal is 125. I don't think I want to go below that. It is WONDERFUL. I haven't lost any real weight for about a month and a half. I keep fluctuating between 133 and 136. That's o.k. with me. I feel 10 years younger and love to shop. My only advice would be to keep your eye on the prize and keep working on them head demons. They never go away, but I have managed to slay them several times.

Gone For Good Club - September 2006

Thanks Kathy! (Cut and pasted from the previous thread) Thanks Kathy! Well let's see...a little bit about myself. I was banded in June 2005 in Monterrey MX by Dr. De La Garza. I started out at 219 (lower BMI) at 5' 3'. I am now at 135, but feel I should be putting more effort into it. Not making the wisest food choices. I am from Dallas, TX. I am married and have a five year old. I work in the medical field. Let me know if you need any other info. Again, thanks for the warm welcome, Kathy! -

Hi, I'm not new. I've been lurking for a while. Can I join? I've been pretty bad lately and need to become accountable for myself.
