Well, I started with True Results in February and its been on eversince. I met doctor Gonzalez throught them and he wanted to remove my gallbladder, since it had given me problems before the surgery. So on March i went under the knife with him for that and it was great. One insicion and great quick recovery. Then i went on the nutrition regimen my insurance required for 4 months and did all the tests and doctor visits required. By May i was done. But the approval process took a bit longer than expected because my medical records were all over the place between Puerto Rico and San Antonio and between different doctors because of insurance changes in the last few years. True Results helped a lot in this process but at one point they had some staff changes and I felt they kind of put me in the backburner there for a bit. My patient advocate had changed and the new one did not put much effort. She didnt return my calls or I didnt feel like she was on my case. But after I spoke to them and I let them know how I was feeling someone else took on my case and she really put some effort in my case. Then finally the approval came in September! And got the surgery in october 12th.The surgery went great, 45 mins and I was done! Doctor said it had a lot to do with me sticking to the preop diet, made things a lot easier for them. Now Im just in the train to lose weight and getting used to the diet. Excited because Im finally on this side of the fence. I know there is much work ahead, but I am excited to meet those challenges with a tool that will help me meet and stay in my goals!
