Hi November Bandsters. My surgery is set for November 4 and I'm dreading :thumbdown:the pre-opt diet. Only protein shakes then clear liquids, wish it was the Atkins diet, that sounds much more appealing, but anything worth having takes work.:cursing: Best of luck to everyone. -
Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. Today is much better for me, yesterday was one of those days. It's truly an emotional roller coaster :eek::):) right now but I am so blessed. Thanks again.

Not sure where to post this but I am struggling with pre-surgery nerves really bad. So much so that i'm taking it out on my child sometimes. My husband is ok with me having the surgery but he's not supportive at all, no pep talks, no hugs, no nothing but stressing me out (he has many personal issues not involving me) Any body with words of encouragement please pass them to me... help I'm scared.

Hi Phyllser, Congrats on your success. I was looking at some posts and I kept coming back to yours.
My father lives in lake stevens and when I saw you live there I wanted to post a big hello and congrats to you. I struggled for years about WLS and I have a date on Nov. 4 but my nerves are really getting to me. Reading your story is very inspirational. Best Wishes for continued success.
