Hi, my name is Nancy, I am 31 years old and weigh 255 lbs. I have been looking into getting the lapband, I have tried so many diets and they just dont work for me. I end up gaining double my weight back. I have a seminar on Oct 20, 2009 and then I have an eval scheduled with the surgeon on Dec 9th, 2009. I am a little scared about this, I have been reading all your posts, some good, some bad. This seems to be a very helpful website so I do plan on visiting it frequently.
