Hello I just joined the site today hoping to become more educated on the LAP-BAND®. I am interested in being banded sometime in the near future. Aside from the commercials I see on tv I dont really know much about the band. I hope that this site can help me answers any questions I have about being banded.

I noticed you mentioned you burn up to 1300 calories a day. How do you keep track of this? I always get overwhelmed counting how many calories I'm burning. Please explain. I also think that it's easier for a man to lose weight then a woman. Do you think that could be the reason why you lost so much weight? In any case congratulations on your weight loss. I'm not banded yet but hope to be sometime soon. Thanks.
