Ladybug: I have the same requirement with my insurance company, Center of Excellence. I still went through Real Results, with Dr. Duncan, however he will do the procedure at Atlanta Medical Center, A Center of Excellence. Real results is marvelous because they offer 1-Stop Shop service.........

I understand how you feel. I was in the same boat weeks ago and I was mortified as well. All I can say is, my doctor and his staff really knew what they were doing, by the time I "came to", they were telling me it was time to go. My throat had that little "sore throat" feeling for a couple of hours, other than that, YOU'LL BE FINE !!! Believe me, I was more scare about the EGD than the actual surgery, so I definitely know how you feel !!! -

I fellow August Bander, I just found out that I was approved and my surgery date is Aug 20th. I'm personally doing the "Lap-Band"; no real reason why, it's just the product my doctor uses and he's well respected here in Metro Atlanta. Let's stay in touch as we journey forward to our NEW selves !!!! -
Just found out today that UHC has officially approved my surgery. Surgery date is 8/20/10. So-o-o-o-o excited !!!

I'm in the Pre-Op phase, but I can honestly say my experience with the True Results office in Atlanta has been awesome. Because my professional life is so busy, I absolutely LOVE their 1 stop-shop approach to walking you through the process of all the many steps required for this journey. Many of the appointments that needed to be made, even off-site places, were made right there in their office to make sure they were taken care of. SO-FAR-SO-GOOD !!! -
Today was my 1st official visit. It was alarming to hear all of the many steps that must be taken before actual surgery, however, right now I'm totally impressed with the 1-stop shop approach with "True Results-Atlanta". They literally either set-up all required appointments for every test and consultation that is needed for the next 6 months.
