hello all I have a 2.5 mil in the band that Dr Chris fitted and I am nto feeling any resistance at all. Will this change when I am up to 4 or 5 mil? A little dishaearten to be honest as i was hoping that would have loss more weight but i am at standstill. Any advise is apprecaited. Roll on the 12Mar for my next fill...

i was banded last friday so still on the soups and shakes ...no fill but going to get one in 4 weeks . :biggrin:

HI LADIES , I AM GOOD TODAY, YESTERDAY i THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO OVERHEAT AT ONE POINT ..NOT SURE WHAT THAT WAS ABOUT BUT DON'T THINK IT WAS BAND RELATED. FEELING MUCH BETTER TODAY AND THE PAID HAS SUBSIDED GREATLY. ITS A LITTLE DIFFICULT AT WORK THOUGH CAUSE MY DESK COMES OUT JUST WHERE MY BANDAGES ARE ARE AND IT HURST SOMETIMES BUT OTHER THEN THAT IS ALL GOOD. LOADS OF WIND THOUGH ... hi , Is anyone going to be banded on the 15Jan10 by Dr Chris in Brussels? I am going on my own and was hoping to hear from other people who maybe going that day.any pre op advise ? thanks!

I am going to be banded by Dr Chris on Jan 15, anyone else going that day in Brussels? I am goign to Brussels on my own so it would be really nice to heare from any other people who maybe being banded that day. Also anyone been to Dr Chris and your feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to reduce my portions but somehow its having an opposite effect, obviously in head I have not changed yet but hopefully closer the time I will be in a better place. Hello , Anyone being banded by Dr Chris De Bruyne in Belguim on the 15Jan09? Just wondering if there is anyone else there for that date as I am going on my own and would be nice to hear from other people going that day : )

Thanks Baldy, that has really put me at ease... but you mentioned about being ok to fly ??? is the a restriction on long haul flights and major surgery ?? Thanks again! And I think I have been looking at this as a miracle cure rather then a tool to assist weight loss.. Thanks you !

Hi All, I am going to have my band done on the 15Jan09 with Dr Chris and I am really hesistant .. not sure why !? is that just the food addict in me not wanting to let my bad habits go ? Also I have just been reading through some of your posts and congratulations to you all but I am concerned about people not losing weight and needing loads of band fills?? is this the normal or the exception? I am planning going travelling in May and am worried that I will need a fill and will nto be able to get one. All advise is gratefully received.:tongue2:
