When people refer to vomiting, what type of vomiting are you doing? The kind that comes from your stomach below your band i.e. food coming back up through the band? Or the kind when you eat too much or food gets stuck and it comes from your pouch? And can the food that comes back up from your pouch cause band slippage?

I finally got my first fill yesterday after 3 months post op, yes I had numbing meds and I can't imagine not having it as it hurt like he!!, I think my port may still be sensitive as the Dr seems surprised that I squirmed all over the table. Mine is done by flouro so I was standing up on the table. Good luck to anyone who does not get meds, stay strong. love the restriction but not looking forward to the next visit.

Who does weights on the same day that they do cardio. My dieation told me not to and I’m not sure why. I can only work out M, W, F’s due to my home life and schedules with 2 kids under the age of 4 so I have to work out extra hard 3 days a week and I have been combining cardio and weights. Is this a problem? Is it a caloric issue?

It seems that my Dr is a little too busy. I was thinking I would get my first fill after 6 weeks but when I went for my 6 week appt the first time they had was the 3rd of Dec. This suck, it will now be 3 months from surgery to 1 sty fill. I do know this is my fault but I wish my Dr was a little more flexible. How much restriction do you have after your first fill? I have none right now, I think I could eat a large pizza but I am sticking to my diet and focusing on not gaining

Thanks, I just got the call and my new Appt is Jan 7th, a long time to wait for my mistake. I’ll be the king of banster hell. The problem in finding a new Dr is that my Dr is one of the best in S Jersey and I have never had a complaint with his practices. I am still losing but as you know each day is harder and harder.

I was going to my fill this morning and looked at the appt card to confirm the location and realized it was yesterday. I had marked it on my Calendar for today. I got the usual $100 fee and now I won't get my first fill until January and I had my surgery on Oct 7th. I’m starving and can't do anything about it. This suck I’m a dumb a$$ for overlooking this.

I have been a part of the ATA and yes it is very good. Also I have been part of USTA united states Taekwondo Assoc and they focus more on the sport and not the endurance. Both are great and you will lose weight. I was at my best shape when I was involved with them. USTA is more for the person wanting to learn how to break bones, at least that was my experience. I personally like the USTA more. .

How many cal should we be burning? if we only take in 1200 in a day and Im buring 4-800 cals just in cardo that would put me in a negative cal for the day. is this OK or do i need to increase my cal intake to burn 800+ cal during workouts

Ya I’m as regular as I can be. I do think it is due to be being hungry. The anti acid worked for a while and it came back. I had lunch and it went away but now it as returned and my stomach is growling like crazy. I see you are from LEH I’m in Gloucester Twp.

Last few days I have been getting bad gas pains that won’t go away. I just ate 2 anti gas tablets and no go. I just started my soft food stage and only had 1 meat so far but this started back in the puree period. Are I just hungry and its causing this as my stomach makes some pretty crazy noises or is it something more? Also I have not had my first fill yet. Still 2 weeks away from that appointment.
