I got my band 11/09. I'm a believer that you get out what you put in. All WLS has its pros and cons. I have Maintained a 85-87lb weightloss with minimal issue. I have had friends who's have had LB and Lost and regained. Sleeve who have lost and regained and fb who's have lost and regained. I'm One of few that's has had the band and didn't regain. But one never knows what life has in store for us But I have given it lost of thought as to what if something happened and I have to have my band removed. I know without a doubt I would do the GB

@@Emmyb2 .... I get the starting Puberty at an early age. I started when i was 9 (period) by the time i hit 3rd grade my boobs were bigger than the teachers. Im 5 2" and started at 230lbs. My bra size was a 44H and now im a 34H. I didn't lose anything in my boobs as far as cup... they still are amazing....full and zero sag or lose skin. I started my WL journey in my 40ies... still have too much breast tissue at 47..lol Good starting point... measure around the underneath of your boobs... around. If it says 30"... your a 34"... add four numbers... if your an odd... like 31" your a 36"... add 5. I have been measured diff ways for cup. I find the easiest... take the tip of the tape find the underneath of your boob straight down from your nipple, come up.. every inch is a cup.... im 8"... so im an H. .... but the best way to know for sure is to get fitted... and like some one said .... don't count on VS fitting you correctly... Most of those girls don't know what they are doing. In my area, i have two.... one is in Baton Rouge the total woman boutique and one in Covington call the bra genie.... I know these are too far for you, but maybe you can use them as a ref to find in your area. Then after i know my size i go to Belle-Lingerie Yes they are in the UK... but they are fabulous.. great selection, great prices... and excellent customer service. I had to return one bra in all the years..only because i didn't read the description and didn't see it was a padded bra.... sent it back, they refunded my CC... no questions asked.

lol..... True story...... in my younger years... and not being a political person back then..... I was out at a club one night and got hit on by David Duke... I had not clue as to who he was or anything about him.... So yes i went on one date with him.... He was actually a very nice guy and super smart. And no he didn't wear the Grand Wizard robe.... heheheheh

@@KristenLe Nothing is to personal.... Im pretty much an open book. I had a TT 2/12... it was the only area that didn't cooperate... the rest went back the way it was supposed to. I started exercising about 2 months after LB... and was in the gym 5-6 days a week... Zumba, walking, elliptical, weights, swimming... Not saying that if you work out all the time that you wont need PS... but i know for me... it def. helped. the PS told me no amount of exercising was going to bring my stomach back. I had two kids by c-section, gallbladder hysterectomy & Lapband surgery... so my stomach was shot and i have most of the scares to prove it... lol

I have a friend that is thinking of doing this..... My question: Why do this and not one of the other WLS? From what i read the first few week are hellish... lots of nausea and throwing up... and you have to get it taken out in 6 months no matter what. And the cost, from what i read, is like 5000-7000 out of pocket... is this true? She needs to lose a good 75-80lbs. to be at a health weight... I wrote to the person that lost the 77lbs and asked him how things was going since they removed the balloon...? He never replied.... That's another question, are people regain what they lost after it's removed?

this truly is terrible and i like Dub feel horrible that her children will have to live with out their mother and the knowledge of how she died. I did see that on the news last night.... geezzz What would possess a person to do such a thing. Background checks... this is where having friends on the force comes in handy. If you have a cop friend... ask them to do a quick peek.. Those sites on line claim to know... but they don't know everything. And like some one else said.. most people that are wrong doers... know how to hide it. I would say that until you really know the person and they have met your friends and family.... Let them know.... Hey Mom/sister/dad/friend.... tonight im going out with... XXX smith his cell number is XXX-XXX-XXXX... He drives a XXXX car/truck... Lic #.....We are going to XXX. I should be home or check in by 11pm. if you don't hear from me... call me.. if i don't answer... call the police. I know it's over kill, but in this day, you have to protect yourself and your dependents. I would also tell that person.... Look, it's not that i don't trust you, but i have responsibilities. And because of this i have let my friends and family know all the above information. He will either be impressed that you have protected yourself so well.... or leave. If he was up to no good... he will prob leave....

going into year 7 with the band. Maintaining an 87lbs lose.... would i love to be at 135.... Yes, but this is where my body wants to be right now. this was my first two years after LB... and the other was taken Saturday.

Patricia.... I hope you don't take this wrong... But, you should stop saying... I only lost 13lbs... Girl you lost 13lbs. in one month... that is amazing. Think how long that would have taken you doing any other diet.... Your doing great. I remember when i said that... Many years ago, and was depressed when i saw everyone else losing fast and i wasn't... then a friend gave them the same advice to stop saying the word... ONLY.... Now im glad for the slow loss... my skin was able to go back better and as a result i only had to have a tt. My advice to you, not that you asked.... But, start hitting the gym if you haven't already. I started with Zumba... and progressed from there. Remember we all gained weight differently and we all lose differently..... but the main focus is you and your WL journey... I have this quote on my mirror in my bathroom because i was always comparing my self to others. There will always be someone prettier and thinner.. But there will always be someone less attractive and largger.... Envy is the Thief of Happiness....

Question: What have you replaced your "food addiction" with? Me.... I can't stop buying sexy underwear.... I know it's crazy. But one of the first things i did was threw out all the un-sexy white high-wasted cotton draws..... Now i look forward each month to getting the coupon in the mail from VS. My underwear drawer use to be a sea of white ugliness..... now it bright and cheerful.... I would have said sex... but i don't think "by yourself" counts.... lol
