My mom agrees now that gay people cannot help who they are, but that they should not act on that desire. But, humans were created for companionship. It's unfair to tell us not to pursue something so pure. Thank you for your words of wisdom. <3 ask your mom.... how would she feel if some one told her that it ok to be her.... but she cant love me or "act" on it... You are who you are. You mom has her own demons to battle... like thinking she did something wrong or that she was a bad mom for making you "gay"... this was not her fault. It's no one's fault, this is who God made you to be. Being Gay is not about them.... it about who you are, you can't change that no matter how hard you try..... Love your self.....

Im Gay...... I said, oh thank God, i thought you were going to tell me you were pregnant.... My whole family has stuck by her, and always will.... I call her my favorite Lesbian... lol I know all about the "save the world" thing.... I'm still like that to a certain extent. We all want what's best for the people we care about. She should consider herself lucky to have a friend like you... and that guy too. BUT, you have to remember, you can't make others do what you would do... if you do you are setting yourself up for disappointment. YOU and only control YOU.... So, be her friend if you want, but, i would suggest that when she starts telling you stuff that makes you uncomfortable... Stop her.. say, im your friend... not anything more. Move on with your life... i promise when you do.... you will open the door for a new Love to come through.

@@LapbandKAB I had my band done Nov 2009 and the last few week i have been having the same thing... but it got much worse so today.... i went see dr... (who is also a close friend thank God) He took out 8cc.... Of course he fussed the hell out of me for waiting.... but i don't have insurance (he didn't charge me a dime) and hated to ask him to do that..... but he took it out and said when i feel better to go back and he would put some in for me.... i lost another 15lbs in the past few months and thought if anything the band would get loser.... but nope. he said this happens a lot. So my advice.... take care of it now... don't wait like i did and make your self miserable

@@Hiraeth I have a 25 y/o son and im here to tell you.... you are too young to be worrying about all this Cr^p. Your only 25.... go out and live your life. Stop waiting for this person to make your life's choices. Be your own woman and experience life and all that comes with it... Personally i think this chick doesn't know her a$$ from a whole in the ground and needs to continue therapy and get her life straight before dragging you and the "guy" into her mess. this.... People is why we as a society need to stop judging people..... Parents that can't except there Kids for who and what they are..... should be ashamed of them selves... My boys know that i love them no matter what. it amazes me how many of my young "gay" friends tell me that their parents won't except them.... i just don't get it.... because this is what it creates... a world full of people that can't be them selves for fear of being rejected... therefor they make bad choices till they come to a deep understanding of who they are..... Love yourself and others will follow....

@@Hiraeth Question: how old is she now and how old are you now? Another thing, don't you think you deserve better than what this girl "might" off you? Coming from a woman who has been married for over 25 years and now getting divorced.... NEVER SETTLE!!! Go for what you want and deserve. Seems like this chick doesn't deserve or value you as a person, friend and ex. If she did, she would not be putting you in this situation. She needs to Sh*t or get off the pot. She sounds like she really need a reality check. A marriage can't work with out two people being attracted to each other... I don't care what people say... Personally.... i would tell her you deserve more that she can give you and cut .... ALL ties with her.... block her #, unfriend her on FB.. Etc. Good luck

So.... went to the cost this weekend (Biloxi, Ms) to the IP casino (no i don't gamble). Went with my Aunt and her Mardi Gras group (just girls). So Friday night, i get dressed, cute mint green sun dress with the even cuter wedges... i must have looked "approachable"..... Ages of the guys that hit on me... 22,25,30,33,.. and one 50 year old. The night went like this... Them: hey, can i buy you a drink?..... Me: hum, i don't know, you look a little young..........How old are you? .............. Them: 22.. etc.......... Me: Oh, im to old for you........... Them: No your not, what are you 35 (apparently i look 35, thats what i kept hearing).......... Me: No, im 48,........... them: No way..... Me: Yes way... But on a more positive note.... i drank for free allllllll night till 4am This single life could be fun.... Also, found out... i really need a smaller bikini bottom, my old one is tooooo big. so friday night.... as im cougaring on the dance floor (hehe) this cutie (pic below, total intoxicated in this pic) comes and grabs my hand and pulls me from the dance floor... (apparently my aunt told her i was getting divorced).... she proceeds to tell me that I didn't need to dance with anyone else because she was going to hook me up with her dad and I was going to be her new mom...... OK... lmao. We hung out all weekend and stayed intoxicated till the weeeee hours of the am... she was a blast. So i went on a date with him last night... Nice guy, not really my type, but now he is "in love" with me.... lord help me. im sad because i really liked hanging out with her... (friend)... not so much the dad. What's a girl to do

the day i couldn't fit into my fav jeans.... i woke up and said.... Not me. Im not going to be one of those people that gain it all back.... So i did what i know worked... stopped buy the bad stuff... (happy foods) Ice cream, chips, Cookies... If you don't buy them, you can't eat them. A year ago this past July i got back to 160.... today im 134.... Remember what got you at your lowest and set your mind to do it again......
