@@Djmohr Girl... i am having a blast. Had dinner with a friend last night, he would want more.. but no thanks. Not my type. But he is a really nice guy. Been dating quite a bit, some good ones.. some duds... lol Sad part is, i try to be nice and let them down easy and they just don't get it. I had one that stared at me the entire dinner... Creepy. better than staying home watching him watch tv..... not having sex or anything....

@@Mac the Knife How was that the bands fault? Wouldn't that be your DR's fault? I had my band placed 11/10/09. Sure i had episodes with vomiting.... but they were my fault.. ate the wrong thing or ate too fast.. or didn't chew well, or didn't pay attention..... none of which is the bands fault. I LOVE my band... she and i have an understanding and i know if i do what im suppose to, she does also. Now i did have an episode recently that my band tightened up for no reason... so i went to my dr./friend and he removed the fill to give my stomach a rest. All is good now and im steady at 130... which is a 100 lbs lost... 90ish lb maintained over the past 5ish years. over the years i have seen many people lose with all the WLS..... i have also seen many people gain it all back with ALL the WLS..... Now of course there are some situations where the band fought back. But those are not the norm.... Ive seen people that had GB have issues and gained it all back, the sleeve and gained it all back.... We must listen to our bodies.... i knew something wasn't right when i was still following all the rules and wasn't able to keep food down... so i carried my a$$ to my dr and took care of the situation..... Diff between me and people that had GB or Sleeve.... I CAN DO THAT.... they can't. I control my band... they can't...once your stomach is cut off.... it's gone. Once you are re-routed... it's done. @@dvons Again, you see... dvons is correct you have to be committed to the band for it to be committed to you... and again, your issues aren't really with the band, just your life and not being able to go to the dr.... @@Big_fine first thing you should do is check with your insurance and see if those things are a qualifying DX. If not, than what is.... and if you don't have any of those... then what is the required BMI. I didn't have any so my BMI had to be 40.... i knew ahead of time i didn't qualify... so to get my BMI at 40... I gained 10lbs. Thats right and i would do it again and again..... Gain 10 to lose 100... hell yes. it was easy to gain 10... and it put me at the 40. Then i went to the seminar... and the rest is history. @@KristenLe I have to disagree with you Kristen on the appointment. this is the reason, once you open the can of warms there is no going back.... if she goes and they tell her no, it could make the process harder. I say get your answers first with insurance.... then go to the dr. This way if you need the bmi to be 40, you can have time to make changes before you step on the scale and they write the # down. Get what im saying...

Halloween is my favorite holiday.... My husband (soon to be ex) didn't like any holiday... lol so we never dressed up or went out. This year im finally getting to go to a classmates halloween party. I love my 8" cleavage.... damn glad i still have it after losing over 100lbs.... Mine are still full and beautiful.... i don't wear inappropriate clothes to work...(i save those for the street corner... lol jk) i wear what fit and looks best on me.... and if it happens to be a "V" neck... so be it. I haven't heard any complainants nor have i been pulled in a office to be reprimanded about it.... So that being said..... if my 8" cleavage offends anyone..... i say kiss my bony b*tt.....

Im lucky as i have very minimal hair in my pits, but i don't have any problems shaving them away. Now the BAS (bony a$$ syndrome) i def. have. I try to not be in one position for too long. I have always been cold.... even at my heaviest. the heater is my best friend at work.... it 95 today and i have it on under my desk now... Before my husband moved out, we kept the ac on 70.... and i had to bundle up with my robe, heating pad, and blanket... not kidding. Now i have it set on 74 and i only need my throw. Whoop whoop. What pi$$es me off are the people that say..... your too thin you need to gain weight... F*ck them. Friday night i had a relative that had not seen me in a while asked if i were sick..... Hell no, im great.... Never better. You know the old question..... Cancer, Death or divorce...

the secret is.... don't eat them... when im forced to go to a buffet i ask for a menu. if they don't have one... i show the my LB card and i get at kids price. pick up the small salad plate, put only what is my limit... and walk away

I don't get the controversy...... Either i drink coffee and be the super amazing bubbly cheerful loving incredible person i am..... Or......... No Coffee... and you get the Devil on Earth. See... i pick coffee and so do the people around me..... lol

@@supersweet31 No girl.... stay away from that balloon.... go read up on it. I got banded Nov. 2009 and in 2013ish... i gained back 20lbs. I know it's not that much, but when my fav jeans didn't fit anymore.... I said... OHHHH HELL NO...!!! I didn't go back to the dr, because after all it wasn't the bands fault...it was mine for making bad choices. So i started at the beginning.... i did liquids for 2 days, Protein shakes, good smoothies, Soup... etc. then i did soft foods for 3.... I through out all the bad stuff in the house... chips, ice cream, Cookies,.... etc. And i stopped buying them (if you don't buy, you can't eat them). I know it's hard with small kids at home to not have treats around... but if you fill your fridge with good treats, yogurt (frozen are great), fruit that you can eat, if you get chips... make them veggie chips or baked... and buy the small bags (lunch size) this why your not tempted to over eat. I cut up everything as soon as i get it so it's easily accessible. Do what you can to move more..... I didn't track a thing... i fixed my plate (still using kids size, tiny bowls,.. etc) with what i knew was good for me and enjoy. Never got seconds... EVER even if i was still hungry. I limited my self to what i know was my portion. My weight was at 150ish.... Today i weighted in at 125. So it is doable... it will just take a little longer... Be patient...... In the end it doesn't matter what WLS you get, it's up to you to make the right choices.....People gain back from the band, sleeve, and GB..... It's all up to you and what you want and how you want your life to be. Work your band the way you know works.... and just do it. You did it once, you CAN do it again.

one time at the mall...... lol i stood in front of Lane Bryant and shot the the double bird and said..... F u Lane Bryant.... hehehe it felt sooooo Good Friday i went to Dillards and bought in the JR. section a pair of Levi's size 5 super skinny low rise..... it felt amazing....
