@@peijeremy You wife has a point... areeeeee you working as hard as you can at losing the weight? Think long.... are you really watching what you eat and are you exercising as much and as hard as you should be? If your answer is no, then i say.... no, don't do it. Work harder to make what you have work..... Don't misunderstand... Im not accusing you of not working hard.. im simply asking the questions you should be asking yourself. On the other hand....... if your answer is yes and you think there is nothing else you can do to increase your weightloss....and he is offering you the DS free of charge..... I would go for it. I still drink a soda a day, eat when i feel hungry (which is about 3x a day) and i have never counted a single calorie...... but what i did do.... i busted my ass in the gym 5 days a week for no less than a hour or two..... for me its a matter of Eating less and moving more

@@Malin i had UHC and found out ahead that i didn't meet the requirements. No co-morbids..... i was 5'2" and 220-223ish .... So i gained 10lbs to make sure i did.... and i did. almost 7 years later... im a fabulous 125-130ish lbs

@@Malin Not telling you what to do..... but i gained 10lbs to be at a 40 bmi.... and would do it again. gain 10 to lose 100.... hell yess You have to leave your mom out of this situation.... she is not you. So i was looking back at some of my favorite post over the past 7 years (when it was just lapband and we use to have fun) and came across this one from my good friend Knaroz.... Although funny.... very informative.... Posted January 24, 2012 - 1:00 AM #1I found this years ago, and while it sounds crazy, I always listen to what it says lol. 1. Thou shalt consume thy Protein first, followed by thy veggies and fruits. If thou, then hast any room left thou shalt comsume thy carbs lastly! 2. Thou shalt take the tiniest of bites, placing thy fork and thy spoon upon thine table, that thou shalt have more time between bites to savor that which thou hast eaten, and allow thy stomach adequate time to inform thy brain of thine fullness. 3. Thou shalt chew and chew and when thou has done so, thou shalt chew some more, lest thy band rise up and smite thee,causing in thy chest great pain, and spewing forth. 4. Thou shalt drink of thy Water, copiously, consuming all that has been recommended to thee, that thou mayest be spared the pangs of hunger and dehydration, and thou shalt thus, also keep thy kidneys well flushed, that thou shalt not develop stones to aggrieve thee. 5. drop him and run.... run as fast as you can. Trust in the fact that if he can't support you now... he won't support you in the future. He doesn't want you to get surgery because of his insecurities..... trust this.... I know. Im not saying that you don't have confidence now.... but wait till you start shedding pounds.... My husband made these too me...... you are too skinny... you look like a bag of bones.... i liked your face when it was full, it didn't show the winkles like it does now.... I loved you more when you were fat..... your losing weight was the worst thing that happen to our marriage.... and on and on and on. and we were/still married for 25 years. don't invest any more time in someone that can't support your choices to get healthy and happy.

@@dpirrello Congrats on the new baby. My suggestion to you.... starting moving more.... If you don't want to get an adjustment, start the exercise process again. sometimes it's hard to get back to the green after an un fill..

You all are so well behaved. My truth... I never gave up the Mt. Dew. Reg, not diet. It sometimes takes me days to finish one 20oz. I also drink coffee pretty much all day. If i go out, i normally drink wine or a margarita on the rocks. Funny thing.... my card reader (ms Audrey) said... you need to drink more Water.... lol She is right. @@Alex Brecher What do you drink?

What does she thing the contributing factor/factors in her re-gain? And how is it different now with the band? I have the Band also, since 11-2009

@@erica2185 I had UHC... but, each policy is different. My advice to you is to call the insurance company and ask what are the requirement for WLS and ask if what you have is a qualifying DX. I would make sure you do this .... BEFORE... going to see the WLS... I knew in advance that i would need a 40 bmi because i had nothing else.... I was just fat. But my BMI was only 38... so i gained 10lbs to get LB surg.

Met DD out in a club... believe it or not he was a very nice man, i mean, for an ex grand dragon of the KKK. And met Al out at a club... went back to his Mansion for a party.... one of the crazies nights EVER!!! Im back in the swing of the almost single life.... so, one never knows what the next adventure will be.... Stay Tuned...

@@xoxococojay At first i only told my mentor (paula) my husband, and two boys. But as the weight started coming off i got the ..... are you sick? My mom started worrying about me so i had to tell her. After time went by and i became more comfortable with me i told more people. This is how it went... them: Wow chris you have lost so much weight how did you do it..... Me: Well i exercise 5 days a week, watch everything i eat and i had gastric banding.... then they would say, you really look great and i would except there compliment and say thanks i appreciate hearing that. Everything Gowalking said is spot on..... be prepared to lose some of your friends. We as women in my experience have two kinds of friends .... Our Fat friends and skinny friends. Not all cases, but what i experienced..... Skinny friends: These are the ones that hang out with us fat girls... it makes them feel better about them selves because they are thinner and get more attention (for the most part). I had a coach tell me once, if you want to look prettier, hang out with girl that are uglier than you.... true with weight also. Anyway, these girls are going to encourage you tillllll you are as thin or thinner than them. Then it will be... you are getting too skinny, your face looks too thin, or my favorite.... If you lose anymore you'll be thinner than me. And they will not like this, because now you are competition ... you are no longer a fat girl and your confidence will go through the roof and men will notice and flock to you.... Fat friends: These are your people.... we fat girls like to hang in packs. We hang with other fat girls to feel excepted. these will not always be on board with the idea of WLS. They will be offended that you would even think of getting healthy and thinner. They will try and sabotage you... be mindful of them... They will not encourage you to lose are go to the gym. They want you to stay fat... Just like them. Don't let them get to you.... Stay your course and stand your ground..... Good luck
