Walking, bike riding is what i did..... Ohhhh and started cleaning out my shoes.... All my size 7 are too big... Already did the clothes... -
I have Two views about this ..... In 2009 i had the band done. At first my (now ex) husband, two sons, DIL and my friend Paula (who had it done the year before), she was also a co worker. It wasn't until about 6 months and people started noticing the WL that i started to open up about it. Of course, i got all the "look"... OHHH you took the easy way out. I did get judged by most everyone. I had people watching me eat... saying, should you be eating that... why aren't you losing weight as fast as others.... You are losing too much.... blah blah blah. So this time around... only my husband (remarried Sept. one month PO). Lately i find i have been getting a lot of.... Wow you really have lost a lot of weight.... This weekend i was so proud of my husband..... We had a crawfish boil and one of our neighbors commented on my weight...... He chimed right up and said,.... she changed her eating habits.... Bam... Love him. So much better not telling.....

Really... hmmm i don't remember saying anything about politics,.... but i could be wrong (please remind me). I really have no memory of that... then again i take Ambien at night and do some crazy stuff. If i did, i'm not afraid of eating crow..... Now maybe i posted something about going hunting.... How can you give something to someone that you don't have? I've checked with a few of my family and friends who are RN's and a Dr..... asked what their thoughts and they all said the same thing.... It's getting blown out of portion. But, like with everything, everyone has an opinion... i have been blessed with a great immune system... Thank you God... -

that was one sentence .... and that's what you got out of that..... AND it's how i feel about all of this... I am NOT WORRIED AT ALL ABOUT CORONA VIRUS..... Even though most gyms are closing.... it's free to walk outside.... My Health and support were completely valid.... I simply said to stock up on better choices and to keep moving..... -
I love giving to St. Vincent's..... I NEVER give to Goodwill anymore... I stopped buying there also. I prefer paying a little more at a consignments shop. Last time i cleaned out my clothes.... i gave them to a fellow WLS patient..... Posted on the site that i had stuff to give away.... bam... gone

Not worried at all.... my feelings... this is all being over blown due to the Presidental race in Nov. They want the economy to tank so they can have a reason to say.... look how bad Trump is. why did you stock up on pasta, rice? why not stock up on fresh veggies and meats.... I use my vacuum sealer to keep things fresh.... I don't eat much, so i'm good. This is another reason.... i love hunting... i have a freezer full of Deer There is nothing stopping you from going outside and walking around.... turn on Netflix and do yoga... it cost nothing to walk/run in the neighborhood or at a park. Or you can do some cardio in your own back yard... take in some fresh air. -
i'm sure you get this all the time.... but you look like a young Terrence Carson...

Best money spent ever...... FoodSaver. When my husband is home he/we cook and there is always leftovers. I portion out my lunch for every day. This machine is a lifesaver. If you don't have one... GET ONE!!!! Also, buy the small paper plates (6"). Portion out on the plate and vacuum seal it. label it and and put a date. I either keep in the fridge or freezer. When we dine out, i take my leftovers home and do the same. If i have left over soup, i just seal it in the bag. The next day or a week later or longer... (last forever it seems). I put one meal in my lunch bag and poop it in the microwave with a small slit.... done. https://www.amazon.com/FoodSaver-Automatic-Machine-Express-Certified/dp/B01MDRSCVF/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=food+saver&qid=1584361769&s=kitchen&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyVlAzNDA3Q1dZQVVZJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjY1Njg4MjlSRTA2T1JCOVZIMCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNDc3NzIwMUQ1WEoyOEROQk9KMCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= -

Why does a surgeon approve your surgery?

I suggest you do a little homework first. Call your insurance company and ask what are the requirements for WLS. Back in 2009 (lapband) the insurance i had the requirements were..... 35 bmi with 2 co morbids OR over 40 bmi with no co's. I quilified for the 40 bmi. I am also 5'2".... (this is one time where being short pays off). I was 232lbs so my bmi was around 42 i think. WLS was a life saver for me in so many ways. Because i had the LB my weight loss was so, but i stuck with it and followed the rules. Got to 143lbs and stayed there for nearly 8 years. Then in March of 2017, after years of zero problems, i got sick and for a week i threw up violently, slipped my band and had to have her removed. Over the next 2.5+ years (and starting menopause) i put back 30lbs of the 89 i lost. Which was still great.... but i hated how i felt. I also hated that no matter what i did.... diet, diet pills, not eating, tracking food, crossfit,.... nothing stopped it. After about a year without her i realized i wouldn't be able to keep all the weigh off with out some intervention. So i started looking for a Dr. to do a revision. My plan was to get the MGB, but no one would do it..... all i kept hearing was... You don't weigh enough.... ughhhh. I started plans to go down to Mex and have it done there.... then on a last ditch effort i called a local Dr. and had a meeting with him. He agreed that had i NOT been a previous WLS patient he would never do anything.... BUT because i was he could get me in as a "revision". So on Aug. 28, 2019 i went in for the Sleeve. No, it's not what i wanted, but i grabbed the chance and ran with it... that and 14K. Mex was about 9-10k i think. Yes i would have saved a few thousand, but it was worth the extra to have my dr. 10 min from me and not in Mex. Today, i happy at my current weight of 131lbs. The day i was sleeved i was 173.5lbs. Worth every cent of that 14k. -
you look wonderful....

I read the OP and just think.... Wow. For one if you are that concerned, lock your self in your home and don't leave till this is over. Have anything you need delivered to you. As far as your loved one, if you are worried, get in your car and go make sure he is being cared for. Second, people are telling you what they are/would do and you're basically shutting them down. If you didn't want people's opinions, why did you ask. Me, i'm doing what i do every day. Nothing different. People should already be coughing into their elbow, washing their hands, keeping themselves clean.... Unless you have terrible hygiene... i see no need for worry. Wash your hands and get the flu shot..... More people die from that then will EVER die from Corona. (copied this ) The CDC predicts that at least 12,000 Americans will die from the flu in any given year. As many as 61,000 people died in the 2017-2018 flu season, and 45 million were infected. Nearly 6.5 times the amount of people that live in your state....The state of Massachusetts has nearly 7 million people living there. Corona cases so far World Wide: around 122k, Deaths around 4k+, people that have RECOVERED: almost 70K.... Currently, there are around 50k active cases. -
