I had foot surgery this summer, and due to so many health issues due to my weight, I decided that while I had already paid a deductible, why not check into lap band surgery.  I first visited the Dr. in August.  By the second week in September, I approved and signed up for a surgery date.  I had my surgery on Oct. 8, 2009.  I was a bit shocked by the pain (comprable to a c-section) but 4 days later, I have a small amount of pain and I am ready to conquer the world!
