My name is Sammi, I am 16 years old. I'm having such a hard time loosing weight. I'm currently 6 months post op and only down 10 pounds. They slowly fill my band every 2 weeks because I am a child study patient. I fight to keep the weight off without feeling any control. I've been overweightmy whole life. By the time I was in 8th grade I wore a size 18 jeans. Both my siblings have had the bypass and lost their weight so quickly while still eating junk food while I work out daily and eat healthy and still the scale doesn't want to budge. Some days I feel like the weight will never come off and I spent my 16th birthday in so much pain for nothing. I had to leave high school because kids were just so harsh. Being overweight is holding me back so much. I'm not going to stop trying I just wish it would happen faster. I'm giving it my best but it doesnt feel like enough and no one can relate, which is why I'm here.
