I started researching the procedure in August 2008. I told myself if I got up to 250 pounds, I would have the surgery. I have been working out at the gym religiously since February 2009. I wasn't getting the results that I wanted. I wasn't sure I wanted the surgery, but in the end I felt like it would be the only way I could become healthy.
