    Thank you Timber!

    Teeth Problem?

I have heard that high protein diets like ours strip the body of calcium, that is why it's important for us to take supplements.

    HELP and encouragement

Chellz, are you taking measurements? You might not see the weight falling off but inches really speak the truth especially if you're working out. We all didn't gain weight overnight, so even though it's hard.. try to be patient :smile2:
  4. JDG, to answer your question about the sources of good Proteins... greek yogurt, cottage cheese, almost all fish, Beans and (of course) meat. On another note, my NUT also recommends 50 grams a day and says that my average (70 grams) is too high. I don't agree so I'm still sticking to my plan of averaging 70 grams.
  5. No, that's NOT normal. You should go to your doctor ASAP and get some fill taken out. You can become dehydrated very easily and don't want to mess with that.

    Hey February 2010 Bandsters!

I don't mean to be a complainer, I am very happy for all you losers out there but I'm not losing... I do feel some restriction, especially in the morning but not enough to help me. I'm excersizing and journaling but nothing is falling off in terms of poundage... maybe I'm just a slow loser. I have my next appointment on 4/12 and hopefully a fill then will bring me to my sweet spot. Good luck everyone, hope to see less of you!

    dealing with a "full" signal

I agree with your resolution although sometimes it pains me to see all the food I throw away. I then say to myself.. it's better in there then on me (or my hips).

    The girls are changing!

I've lost 25lbs and went from a DD to a D, and to me they look like deflated water baloons. I think I might get them lifted & bigger after I reach my goal weight.
  13. Journey, it sounds like you are doing everything the doctors told me to do after surgery. Don't forget that you had MAJOR surgery and it takes sometime for your body to recover from that sort of trauma and you are in healing mode. The weight will come off, just be patient... I know it's hard but, just stick to your doctor's plan and you'll see changes. Did you take measurements before surgery so you can compare at 1 month post-op, I didn't see much weight during my 1st month post-op but lost over 10 inches and it made for a great NSV.

    Weight loss goals

I'm 4'11" and my doctor wanted to make my goal weight 139 but I thought that was too high so we changed it to 120. I picked 120 because that was my weight in high school and I thought I looked good at that weight. My weight loss has been slow because I'm not working out as much as I should and I plan to correct that.

    Self sabatage and night eating

I am so glad I found you! I'm always so good during the week while at work but at night and on the weekends it's like all hell breaks loose! I think I'm going to have to do what SOEXCITED did and take myself on a shopping spree, I haven't bought myself anything new because I've been waiting to hit the 30lb mark. I just don't think it's going to happen anytime soon and I need new clothes! What do you guys think?

    Yogurt, pudding.. thicker foods

Those types of liquidy foods won't get stuck. If anything you eat has pieces of fruit, meat or veggies make sure to chew them very very well.
