How long did the gas last? I know it's been awhile since you posted this but I am newly banded and I could use someone telling me that it will go away soon.

I think I am right at 24 hrs since I was banded yesterday. I'm a little uncomfortable from gas and the incisions but am really doing pretty darn well. Just ate some soup...which was pretty much the first thing I've eaten. :huh2: I'm pretty excited about what's ahead for me. Hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow.

I had my surgery by the same surgeon today. Only problem I am having is from the gas. Can't sleep because of the gas pain but everything else went great. Was surprised to find out I had lost over 11lbs this week on pre-op diet! Excited to see it melt away in the coming months!
