I have had an arthoscopic surgery and a biological resurfacing on my left knee.  I am facing another arthoscopic surgery now on my right now.  I am experiencing a lot of pain from my knees and am unable to exercise right now.  My orthopaedic has asked if I have considered weight loss surgery.  I attended a seminar on the lap band about a year ago.  I have always said I would only do this as a last resort if I had a life threatening problem.  I really never wanted this but now it seems inevitable, if I can get my insurance to cover it.  I have a lot of emotions about it all right now and am trying to do some research.I am in the very beginning stages of the process...worrying about insurance....what the procedure would be like...how my life would change...is this the right decision???
