I am on day 4 of my liquid diet, today was much easier then yesterday. The night before I started the diet hubby took me out for a last dinner and a couple of Mragaritas. Probably not a smart move to over eat then go on a steic diet the next day

I am almost at the end of Day 2 liquid diet, I am so hungry, light headed and shaky. Hard to think there are 8 more days to go. Terri

Congratulations and hope your pain goes away quickly. With my surgeon we spend the first night in the hospital but will ask about getting the pain pills b4 the surgery. My date isn't tille Dec. 1st. -
Su59, I'm 59. Surgeon told me my furnace was more worn out then a younger person and it would be a long uphill battle. My family doesn't want me to have the lap band and this just fueled their fire but like others I'm apprehensive about the surgery but not the lap band. I'm going through with it. Tried a protein powder from Trader Joe's, it was horrible.

My surgery date is December 1, start liquid diet next Sunday. Should be interesting while helping to prepare Thanksgving dinner Terri

I can also relate to the hassle. After waiting to hear back from the insurance company I called the doctors office and they hadn't submitted my papers. Dietican didn't check that my insurance didn't need follow up visits with her and unbeknown to me had scheduled another appointment. So I had to start the wait all over. Got the good news today, insurance said yes.:Yawn: -

Received my ok from the insurance company today. My family isn't thrilled with the decision but they are coming around.
