I have had 2 lap-band surgeries. The first surgery was in July, 2006. It was extremely successful. I lost 100 pounds. THEN...I got pregnant, and my band slipped and I had another surgery to replace the old band in March 2009. I have not lost any weight with the new band, and I don't like the new band at all!!!!
