Congrats! I am one day post op and feel pretty rough, like someone punched me in the stomache pretty hard. I like you will hope you hope we both feel better soon. We have to hang in there.

Hi! I just had surgery yesterday and I got to come home versus staying overnight in the hospital. I stayed in bed all day long yesterday and when I finally got out of bed today I noticed that soreness. Has anyone else experienced this? I called the doctor on call and he said that it's sore because I was in bed all day. I do not have any signs of blood clots either. Thank all for your comments and support.

I did well from what my doctor said bc he sent me home. I have had an aching cough not sure why. Will call doctor tomorrow about that. Thank god For my liquid lortab.

Am getting ready to leave to go to the hospital to get banded. It's been a long wait but I will see you on the other side. :-)

This has happened to me as well I had originally lost like 7 pounds the first week of the pre op diet and now this morning I am up 3 pounds. I don't understand it. I am relieved to know this has happened to others as well.

There will be headaches in the beginning of the pre op diet but nothing Tylenol can't help. After the first three days it's not as bad. Good luck with the diet and surgery . I am getting banded on the 9th.

I was told the same thing. No drink 30 minutes prior to or after you eat. No drink while eating as well. That is what my doctor told me.

I have been on many different diets and have lost up to 60 pounds on my own, but like yourself have put back on the weight and then some in a matter of months. Yes, I could do this again on my own but with the bands help I will be able to maintain. The journey so far has been trying, worrying, fun, exciting and scary but this site is great. Ask questions the people here are wonderful and will answer you honestly. I will be getting banded on October 9th and the butterflies are coming but I am Aldo excited. Best wishes and good luck with whatever decision you make.

That also helps me out. I now will be getting banded on 10/9. In two weeks exactly. Butterflies are atarting to arrive but excited too.

Okay just came back from doctor and they moved my surgery up a day to the 9th of October. It's so surreal it will be here sooner than I think.

NikkiClem....glad to hear that you are making it on your liquid diet. That is one of the things I am concerned about....is the diet. I am sure I am going to be getting horrible headaches and the shakes just from the sugar and caffeine. I guess I will take it one day at a time and keep my eye on the prize. We have this and congrats on your upcoming surgery.

Hi jesscara1987! I will be getting banded on the 10th of October. There is an "October bandsters" thread. Take a look and welcome. We got this. :-)
