My name is Victoria, I am 34 years old, married and a mother of a 13mth old who is the love of my life.  I have battled with my weight my whole entire life and when i mean my whole entire life i started at birth weighing in at 12lbs.  My highest weight has been 265 when i was pregnant.  Plagued with Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, a terible pregnancy and see my son in the NICU for 10days after birth because of my pregnancy..My husband and I decided the Lap Band was the best option for me.  We want to have another child but we both know we do not want to go through what we did with our son.  After 9mths of research and finding Dr V..I was finally banded on 1/26/2010 with the wonderful support of my Endocronologist, Hypertension Dr, My general Dr and Dr V Insurance Team My surgery was paid in full and without any issue from our Insurance Company.  I feel very blessed.  It has been a hard week but what keeps me strong is the thought of running and playing with my son and hubby in the backyard with being out of breath.  I also think about having a healthy pregnancy with my 2nd child which will hopefully happen 6mths after i hit my goal weight of 135.
